The memory of my son grinning at me and running to me with his arms outstreched and yelling "You're the best mommy a boy could have!", after we finished raking the leaves into a pile and having a leaf fight.

The birth of my second son.

Why the second and not the first? Because I loved the first the whole time I was pregnant with him, but with the second, I had so much stress and difficulties going on, being pregnant was more of an annoyance to me than a blessing, then when the doctors placed him in my arms, I was overwhelmed by the love I suddenly felt for him.

my wedding. for the simple fact that then i would remember how i felt about many many people in my life. other memories are better, but they only involve a couple important people in my life. i would want to remember as many as possible!
but i guess i am reading into the question....i'm assuming i get to go on with my life, like i have amnesia except for that memory....
otherwise the question is just too hard!

I choose the memory of swimming in the Gulf of Mexico, way out in the deep water, with the sun baking down and a porpoise nudging me. This really happened.

there was this point in time where the Spirit of God came into my body and I became weightless and it seemed that I was tossed for I do not know how long into outer space just after what appeared to be a small star entered my being. Never want to forget that

It would be of a day not to long ago when my daughter and I were at the park, having fun. Not glorious, I know, but for me it's a beautiful memory. Her little happy smiles and laughs. I would never want to forget my daughter.

There was one time, I asked my 5 year old Son if he loved me. He said "Yes, Dad!" I then asked him if I was a good father to him. He paused and said: "Of course you are Dad! Even if you were a horrible Dad I would still love you! You're my Daddy!!"
That lil' sod brought tears to my eyes, lol!

This would be the memory I would like to retain, should all others be taken from me.

:)

The afternoon i spent with my friends at lake mead in NV. I had climbed on a 30ft boulder that was half in the water and half out. all my friends were jumping off that rock into the lake but i was and am afraid of heights so it took me a long time to jump but while i was sitting on top of that boulder trying to gather my courage to jump, I was leaning back looking at the mountains and for the first time seeing how really beautiful they were, i could feel the wind gently blowing through my hair and caressing my hips. Then i looked at the sky and it was cutting itself into stripes of purple oranges pinks and yellows. it was amazing. I can remember thanking God and telling him how beautiful his earth was. Then the most amazing thing happened , I could feel every tension, every anger. every doubt that i ever had pent up, just melt away, I could actually feel it drain bit by bit away and it was replaced by a calmness. it was like nothing i have ever felt before. I felt like God had just touched me. I truly believe he does take care of me. I have had miracles in my life and that is one of them.

The memory of seeing my father in Intensive Care right after his triple by-pass. It is a constant reminder of how fragile and delicate life is and it is a constant reminder for me to treasure the time I have.
