I was 14 when I found the path that I'm on.I researched a variety of religions and talked to several different people who were authorities on the subject(priest, pastors, monks, high priestesses, etc.)and read up on the subjects.Later in life,I took theology and history classes, which merely confirmed I was on the correct path for me.

I didn't ever decide to adhere to any religion but from a young age I experienced spiritual experiences and read books that gave me an interest in karma and reincarnation etc. and that developed over a period of twenty years into an interest in Buddhist philosophy and practice. A study of near death experiences gave me a deeper understanding (or belief) that Buddhism is indeed the philosophy that comes closest to setting out the path that God wants us to take in life, but I also see divine truths in other religions such as Christianity and Islam.

I don't know. 11-12ish? It was about that time that I (like many others have said) quit pretending to believe in Christianity. I still searched a while before I realized that all religions are full of it. Every single one. In some way or other. I consider that the beginning of my maturing process. Now if only I could reach the end! lol.

At 11 I gave up Christianity. For 3 years I tried to decide, researching each one, and in the end I choose Buddhism because it made the most sense.

I was born and raised catholic till my late teens. I haven't attended mass regularly in about 2 or three years. I'm a christian still but I have my own set of beliefs as far as the bible goes. I live a good christian life, the only thing that seperates me from most other christians, is that I don't judge anyone on anything. I long for the days when I would hear "God made every single one of us different." Where did that type of christianity go? All I hear from Christians is condemnation for anyone who doesn't believe in their radical ideas.
I believe god is the creator of the universe, just not in the way it says in the Bible. I believe he will judge us all one day and determine who enters into his heaven. I'm a peaceful christian who understands many different viewpoints on god and religion.

I was just a child when I chose atheism. Maybe 11 or 12 years old. The why of it is a long story, one I don't feel like sharing today. I will say thay it involved physical pain and suffering. So I questioned the why of it, came to my own conclusions, and left the church.

I loved my religion from my childhood. Gods and Godesses in my religion are adorable and give joy worshipping them. Later I started thinking about the religion and came to know about teaching of Swamy Vivekananda. Then I am completely convinced that I need not look at any other religion to know god.

I have had more than one 'religion' in my lifetime. The first was when I was 7 years old, the latest last week. I explored until I evolved a 'religion' on my own.

As old as I can remember, I have believed Jesus. Now, as following it, I did look at other beliefs. Probably started following at 12 years of age. But, I not going to say I followed perfectly, we all have our sins to deal with and it can take time.
