Daniel 12 vs 2 says that we will go to aborance forever-that is a real empty hell.

Isaiah predicted Messiah Jesus-from beginning to end-yet some of my Jewish people refuse t o read the Jewish scriptures-like-dont confuse me with facts---

Moses said "The life of the flesh is in the blood, and i have given it to make atonement for your soul."

No atonement =no heaven with forgiveness of sins.

you cant be good enough to earn heaven-or we wouldnt need a blood atonement for our sins!

once i let the Messiah into my heart -i got perfect peace within and he is my best friend.

why not believe with millions of past athiests, Muslims and Jews-that have come to know Messiah Jesus and now are true Jewish and as you are a true free person-not brain dirtied but washed and set free in the precious blood of the innocent Messiah that died for u and me-thanks alot and see u in heaven-or i dont want to feel your woe in hell -i cry for others to know the Messiah personal

When a guy asked " will you accept jesus today", many answered positively and the people who rated them were just the opposite. It seemed like no one, who rated, liked christianity at all or it might be like only one or two guys rated every one.

i got saved-John 3 "Except ye repent of your sins (even one lie), and be born again, ye can not see the kingdom of heaven." i prayed-Jesus im sorry for my sins, come into my heart and save me, be my friend, amen-

now he is my savior and best friend-He said he would do this in Revelation 3vs19&20 "I love you, and stand at your heart door and knock, if you let me in to forgive your sins, i will come in and become your friend."

DO YOU BELIEVE JESUS-IF SO WHY AND IF NOT WHY NOT-IS HE A LIAR--MILLIONS HAVE BEEN BORN AGAIN AS I HAVE, AND HAVE JESUS as our best friend savior, good shepherd and more

Kudos to everyone who has answered so far.

The question for you to answer in this question is, what was different about that question that it got real answers, and not the usual answers jim darwin gets on a sunday, people attacking him as a god hater?

I'd especially love to hear a serious answer from someone who is: all for White Power, hates Jews, and worships Jesus.

I understand some of you call Jews "Christ-killers", but I wonder:

How do you justify your allegiance to a Jewish Jesus?

(Yes, history and biblical sources confirm Jesus was Jewish)

Very curious, thanks.

Everytime I post a question, I get a bunch of answers that either have nothing to do with the question or they answer it on a premise of me asking advice, which I haven't, maybe 3 people out of 20 will actually read and answer pointedly.

I used to be a waitress and we always dreaded the "church crowd". They always ordered on seperate bills, which is extremely agitating when there's 5 or 6 of them. They were always extremely particular on how their food was prepared, and they always tipped in a few dimes or a couple of quarters. So what's the deal with that? They can give bills to the church, but only a few coins to the ones that feed them and wait on them?

Are we to believe that Jesus' suffering supercedes the suffering of all mankind? I disagree. There are human beings who have suffered MUCH, MUCH worse fates. Disease, illness, congenital deformity, torture... the list goes on and on. I would argue that humans tortured by Spanish Inquisitors suffered worse fates than Jesus.

Then, are we to believe that God was more sorrowful than anyone else who has lost a loved one? Is he the only individual who has sacrificed a son? How about all the mothers and fathers who have sacrificed their sons to war - both just and unjust?

I laugh at how Christians believe that the plight of Jesus and God was somehow worse than anyone else's in this crazy world. God has allowed much greater travesties and suffering to occur... Nay, he has not simply ALLOWED them to occur, he had an active hand in them during the Old Testament and admits it!

I recently posted a question that might have offended members of the christian community. I want to extend my apologies for the thoughtless accusation that I made to my christian brothers and sisters. Although I don't follow christianity I do respect your beliefs and decisions. I realize that every religion has its nutcases running around, but true christians that understand the spirituality of the their religion are great people doing great things. So if you would please accept my apologies It would make me very happy.

I believe in God and I would never deny that I believe in him and I'm not ashamed of him.

Some people said that I denied God just because I emailed someone else in a fictional name saying that I(the fictional character with another email) don't believe in God what should I do ect. Now I'm scared so am I going to hell because I commited the UNFORGIVEN SIN?

God knows what I was doing He knew I wasn't denying him. I was just playing another Character. Right?

I know I sinned by lying but that's forgivable.

Intellegent answers please.

Its funny that in our world the greatest trick that Satan has pulled is convincing the world that he does not exist. In analyzing our current society ( especially America where I live) you see so much about the judgmental and wicked church trying to judge everyone and its so funny to me that people say because the HUMANS in the church say or do something that the philosophy of a religion is faulted. Christianity teaches not to judge and to love thy neighbor however Christians neglecting these principal cornerstones of our religion seem to be the ones to speak for Christianity and how homosexuals are horrible abominations and abortions seekers deserve to burn in hell. These so called Christians are farthest away from Christianity.
If people were truly capable of following the principal tenets of the religion I think the world would have a different conception of the religion.
LETS STOP CONFUSING THE ACTIONS OF THOSE WHO WORSHIP A RELIGION AS PROOF THAT THAT RELIGION IS EVIL.

If you have never accepted Christ...
...the good news is that you can make sure you will spend eternity with Jesus in Heaven. It doesn't matter who you are or what you've done. Jesus loves YOU personally very much. He even died so YOU can have eternal life, then He rose from the dead to prove it!

...But you must first believe and mix it with faith.
If you are sincere and want to be ready to meet Jesus, pray this simple prayer from your heart:

Lord Jesus, I admit I am a sinner. I need forgiveness. I am sorry for my sins and I don't want to sin against You anymore. I believe You are the Son of God and You died on the cross for MY sins. I also believe that you rose from the dead so that I, too, may have victory over the grave. Please forgive me now Lord and cleanse me. Come into my heart and give me a new life. Thank You, Jesus, for shedding your blood for me and for hearing and answering my prayer. Amen.

Jesus says in Luke 15:10: "Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth."

I'm not gay and I'm not going to convert. Anytime I ask anything about gay people Christians, not all, ask me "why are you gay" or something along these lines and tell me I need Jesus.

Is this a product of the b word, the word that ends in rainwashing? I thought the answer was ethnocentrism, but it happens to often.

Now i belive in god but i would just like to here your debates agaist evoulution to make me have strong faith

NEW YORK (AP) -- Scientists have discovered a remarkably complete skeleton of a 3-year-old female from the ape-man species represented by "Lucy."
The discovery should fuel a contentious debate about whether this species, which walked upright, also climbed and moved through trees easily like an ape.
The remains are 3.3 million years old, making them the oldest known skeleton of such a youthful human ancestor.
"It's pretty unbelievable" to find such a complete fossil from that long ago, said scientist Fred Spoor. "It's a once-in-a-lifetime find."
Spoor, professor of evolutionary anatomy at University College London, describes the fossil in Thursday's issue of the journal Nature with Zeresenay Alemseged of the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig, Germany, and other scientists.
The skeleton was discovered in 2000 in northeastern Ethiopia. Scientists have spent five painstaking years removing the bones from sandstone, and the job will take years more to complete.
Judging by how well it was preserved, the skeleton may have come from a body that was quickly buried by sediment in a flood, the researchers said.
The creature was a member of Australopithecus afarensis, which lived in Africa between about 4 million and 3 million years ago. The most famous afarensis is Lucy, discovered in Ethiopia in 1974, which lived about 100,000 years after the newfound specimen.
Most scientists believe afarensis stood upright and walked on two feet, but they argue about whether it had ape-like agility in trees.
That climbing ability would require anatomical equipment like long arms, and afarensis had arms that dangled down to just above the knees. The question is whether such features indicate climbing ability or just evolutionary baggage.
Spoor said so far, analysis of the new fossil hasn't settled the argument but does seem to indicate some climbing ability.
While the lower body is very human-like, he said, the upper body is ape-like:
• The shoulder blades resemble those of a gorilla rather than a modern human.
• The neck seems short and thick like a great ape's, rather than the more slender version humans have to keep the head stable while running.
• The organ of balance in the inner ear is more ape-like than human.
• The fingers are very curved, which could indicate climbing ability, "but I'm cautious about that," Spoor said. Curved fingers have been noted for afarensis before, but their significance is in dispute.
A big question is what the foot bones will show when their sandstone casing is removed, he said. Will there be a grasping big toe like the opposable thumb of a human hand? Such a chimp-like feature would argue for climbing ability, he said.
Yet, to resolve the debate, scientists may have to find a way to inspect vanishingly small details of such old bones, to get clues to how those bones were used in life, he said.
Bernard Wood of George Washington University, who didn't participate in the discovery, said in an interview that the fossil provides strong evidence of climbing ability. But he also agreed that it won't settle the debate among scientists, which he said "makes the Middle East look like a picnic."
Overall, he wrote in a Nature commentary, the discovery provides "a veritable mine of information about a crucial stage in human evolutionary history."
The fossil revealed just the second hyoid bone to be recovered from any human ancestor. This tiny bone, which attaches to the tongue muscles, is very chimp-like in the new specimen, Spoor said.
While that doesn't directly reveal anything about language, it does suggest that whatever sounds the creature made "would appeal more to a chimpanzee mother than a human mother," Spoor said.
The fossil find includes the complete skull, including an impression of the brain and the lower jaw, all the vertebrae from the neck to just below the torso, all the ribs, both shoulder blades and both collarbones, the right elbow and part of a hand, both knees and much of both shin and thigh bones.
One foot is almost complete, providing the first time scientists have found an afarensis foot with the bones still positioned as they were in life, Spoor said.
The work was funded by the National Geographic Society, the Institute of Human Origins at Arizona State University, the Leakey Foundation and the Planck institute
