I used to be a waitress and we always dreaded the "church crowd". They always ordered on seperate bills, which is extremely agitating when there's 5 or 6 of them. They were always extremely particular on how their food was prepared, and they always tipped in a few dimes or a couple of quarters. So what's the deal with that? They can give bills to the church, but only a few coins to the ones that feed them and wait on them?

I'm not generalizing by saying that all christians do that, but at the 3 different restaraunts I worked at, they were all the same in those ways.

This is a good message for people who go to a restaurant with their friends after church. Especially when the waitress realizes you are all from church, you should treat her right! She will judge Christians by your behavior. If you can't afford the tip, you can't afford the meal. When you are causing the waitress extra wor, you should tip her more.

I am a Christian just to clarify. My girlfriend is a Restaurant Manager. On Sunday she gets a Church group that comes in and complains about the food to get free food. What interesting, they come back every Sunday to complain! Ha!
Oh! They not tip either. ;-)

Don't know. I've heard that Sunday Christians are horrible tippers from quite a few people over the years.

My best answer is, they're just cheap, rude b*stards. At least that's what I'd be saying if I'd just waited on them and they didn't tip.

I'm a Christian and I know you are right about this. How terrible. Some people even leave religious tracts instead of tips. I always tip 20%.

Biggest tippers: drinkers and smokers.

OH! I agree! They are such meanies... And I used to get alot of those little booklets about Jesus and the Lord. And I still can't quite figure out why they feel they have the right to use my restaurant as a segueway for spreading their religious propaganda.

probably those people who tip lousy like that arent even the real christians ..theyre probably those people who put alot in the offering plate to make up for all the wrong they did during the week.. so tipping has nothing to do with their religion theyre just ungrateful people.

i'd be pissed if that happened to me. i never understand why the religious people can be some of the rudest people out there...wouldn't you think that they'd want to promote the betterment of mankind? and kindness, compassion, and the common good? after all...that's what their religion teaches them...so maybe they're hypocrites.

DUH have you not been watching what goes on around you. It seems really obvious that not all people who say they are God's friend actually are. The rest just go to hear what they already believeare
