I've never in my life had any hatred for God. I went straight from comfortable belief and a warm feeling for God to my current awareness that there isn't any such thing as a God.
I don't think I've ever met anyone who hates God either. It has never come up in conversation, I've never read a book whose author hated God, and frankly, the notion of hating God seems to be nothing more than something created by the kinds of believers who are threatened by the fact that there are intelligent, moral, sensible atheists.

How could you hate something that in your mind does not exist? It is illogical. If there is one thing that most atheists have in common, it must be a logical mind.
A God-Hater is a believer who is mad at God. I have been there and done that. I got over the anger long ago.

I have let go of what used to be "god-hate" and am enjoying my atheism. But, when anyone asks me to hypothetically asume that "god" is real in order to answer a question, the hate comes right back. Sooooooooooo, guilty and proud of it.

First, you must believe in God. Then, you must feel very strongly against him - i.e. hate him.
Someone who does not believe in God cannot hate him. However, one could hate the idea of God or of believing in God.
I have seen no evidence that the individual you reference holds ill feelings toward God.

When you question something that someone else sees as divine, or supreme, anything they consider negative is an attack. So, in other words, it doesn't take much because the simplest of questions will do it.
