If we are a nation led by right wing "Christian's", how can a show which glorifies adultery be so popular? I personally can't stand the show, especially the number one whore Eva.

It's popular because a lot of people like to watch garbage.
And contrary to popular belief, the country is not led by Christians.

Many so called right wing christians aren't exactly the purest people on the face of the planet... if you've failed to notice. Think of how many conservative housewives watch soaps all day... and those shows are usually based on rich, super right jerks.

This nation is not "led" by right wing Christians. And shows like that will always be popular, because most people enjoy having their baser instincts appealed to.

every wife needs someone to relate to. this show gives examples of wifes in a bunch of different familial situations, and then shows what would happen if you took it to the extreme. basically, it allows us wives to say ' well, at least THAT didnt happen to me!' also, the characters have depth and an emotional maturity that is pleasant to watch. and Evie is more comic relief than anything else.

Buddy you've got it right. This country is not led by Christians, we are but a remnant, just as Christ said it would be. This country is comprised mainly of people just like you. Naysayers and those who want things their own way, not Gods and it always will be.
