They are very radical. I live in Germany, Christians here are totally different, I guess they are just less religious, but Christians here don't quote the Bible to justify physical punishment of their children, they accept evolution, they accept homosexuality..... I have a friend here whose parents are pastors, her brother is homosexual and their parents don't blame him at all and accept him as he is, he lives with his boyfriend.... something I could hardly imagine for American Christians....

I'm all for "live and let live". I don't have a problem with Christians (and American Christians is all I'm familiar with) as long as they don't try to push their beliefs on me, or think that I am less than human for believing differently.
What annoys me is when they don't respect my right to believe differently. There are a lot of Christians that will push, and push, and push their beliefs, to the point where you would rather they suffocate you with a pillow! When it's obvious that I don't wish to be "converted", I wish they would get the hint and back off. That's not to say that there are lots of great Christians out there with the same attitude as me, and are willing to accept those that they don't agree with.
Hope this helps!

I have lots of debates about evolution on many boards with real nutty creationist freaks who live in a fantasy world and almost without exception they are Americans. Perhaps because I live in a country where religion doesn't have a high profile I just find it hard to accept that any society can be so polluted with individuals whose views are frankly insane. Normal Americans should be getting these freaky religionist weirdos sorted out.

Those that are Sunday Christians. They do not hold their values permanently - they go to church on Sunday and call it good assuming they can atone for their weekly sins later.
Those that feel the need to strike fear into you with scripture and forcefull prostelytizing. No one ever helps anyone come to God & Jesus that way. Its not a soul winning contest. Its about teaching - and no one likes to be taught by an angry-holyerthanthou-bible beating Christian.
And I say "Those" because I do not refer to all Christians - just the ones that participate in this sort of behavior.

That they have become a political force and want christian beliefs enacted into law for everyone.:
Anti-gay marriage, against equal rights for gays.
Against personal choice in abortion.
Anti science in general, evolution and stem cell research in particular.
Want prayer and creationism in schools.
Want the 10 commandments in courtrooms, public buildings.
Christian prayer at public events.
I'll stop with those before I really get ticked off at them any further.

When they dont live as they preach and witness. When they don't share the entire gospel and only pick and choose the ones that dont' offend anyone. The ones that this scripture applies to....
Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
The ones who are afraid to stand on the word of God and still have to nerve to call themselves a Christian.
I am a born again Chrisitian, and I stand on the word of God.

The USA was set up with tolerance and freedom in mind. You are free to believe what you like and do as you please so long as you are not interfering with other peoples enjoyment of that same right. Christians like to forget this and are very eager and try very hard to legislate everybody else into following their practices. If they could they would make it law that only Christans could be elected to office for one example.

The same thing that annoys me about Americans in general.
You're arrogance, and sense of entitlement.
