No. People who practice their religious faith cannot be possessed by any spirits that they don't want to be possessed by. But people can say that they are members of a faith and still become possessed by not practicing and allowing an opening in themselves where unwanted spirits can enter. That's why it's good to pray a lot.

Although the Bible does not explicitly state whether or not a Christian can be demon possessed, it would seem highly unlikely that a person indwelt by the Holy Spirit could be possessed by a demon.

Of course anyone can be possessed. Since Lucifer wants to turn many people away from god he want his army to go after Christians. The true story that the exorcist is based on I’m pretty sure they were a Christian family , who went to church the boy was baptized.

True Christians cannot be demon possessed.
Light and darkness cannot inhabit the same space.
But many Christians can be oppressed by sinful learned behaviors.

What about Jim Bakker, Jimmy Swaggart and Pat Robertson?
What about my six Roman Catholic Christian relatives who administered passive involuntary euthanasia to my devout Roman Catholic Christian grandparents?
The only demons possessing people like these are their perverted, hypocritical and prejudiced minds.

yes, of course....if you define someone who is baptized as a Christian, then yes. There are plenty of accounts in history of possessed christians.
