I just wondered how come there is about 90% God bashing going on toward Christians, and people saying Christians are forcing there beliefs on them? I see people ask some pretty good questions on this site, and want answers to there problems, and just get shot down by by people who don't have the same belief. May be if the question doesn't concern you, then why shoot them down with ignorance?

Good question... and I don't know the answer. I am relatively new here also and was invited to participate. I thirst for understanding and had exhausted conventional, literary, scholarly avenues. I was to have found people of various faiths asking questions about others and giving answers about their own. I was to have had access to intelligent response to questions about my own understanding of my and other faiths. Instead, I find myself sifting through far too much nonsense and mocking, sometimes outrageously baited, ignorance. I am not talking about those questions or answers that are genuinely seeking answers. I am talking about those irrationally antagonistic answers to questions of faith that are apparently abhorrent to the responder. In fact, I would like to know exactly what the purpose of this forum is. If I want bashing, I can find it where it is called what it is: hatred.
God bless you and may we all find enlightenment despite the hatred. I do have the choice to log in here or not. In the end, I will give it a bit more time before I decide what to do. So far, I have to concentrate on the good people of all faiths who are here and hope that is enough to make the effort of sifting through ignorance worthwhile.

I also came on here to find answers to, and answer questions myself. That was in June I believe. I have had good and bad experiences here, made friends from all over the world, Been threatened physically, financially, and spiritually. I have learned to ignore the threats, most of them are from lost people that feel the heat and Satan is reacting to it.
I have lead 6 people to Christ through this site, and been able to help many many others here and on the side.
I am a pastor with the Assemblies of God, and will go to any lengths I can to reach people for Christ. I see this forum as just another tool for Jesus.
Keep up the good fight and do not let the people on here take you down.

Amen brother.
It's sad to see people bashing others who believe in God and want to spread his word. I guess others feel the need to bash these things because they've had bad experiences with Christianity or they just don't understand it. It doesn't make it right at all. Not all Christians are the same and if they have had a bad experience, they shouldn't judge all Christians because of that. If they don't understand it then they can either move on or try to understand it more.
Maybe one day it'll be moved on from. I doubt it, but maybe. If it doesn't then we can all look forward to being with God in Heaven and the New Jerusalem. :)

All I can say is it is getting worse in this world and Yahoo Answers is a prime example. When I first started looking at questions in this catagory, I would get so mad and upset about all the nasty and hate filled comments that people were saying. I finally decided to spread Gods word as much as I could and if some people choose not listen to it, then at least I have done my part in trying to help them. They don't want our help. They are convinced that we are stupid and that our beliefs are rediculous.
Just continue to do what you can to spread the word, and take what you read on here with a grain of salt.

I don't see it as god bashing going on towards Christians, I see it as any question about wicca, paganism, or Buddhism being shot at with CONVERT TO CHRISTIANITY and an overused quote.

we are not really god bashing how can we as god and the devil do not exist and the true god bashers are the churches bible bashers and the idiots that pay for their beliefs as they are getting ripped off a true faith is one that you are not even asked to make a donation it is free plain and simple find out how much a preacher makes in 1 week and they don't pay tax they get away with it nice fancy cars, houses, a mistress and wife so who is making the bigger sin THEM not us

Looks like today is not your day. Atheists have no god to protect so they can go and bash any religion they want to. Its not just Christianity. Don't make it sounds like the christians are getting picked on. If they poses questions that you can't answer and backup with proof then just ignore them. Don't get mad over it.

well there are some questions that are preachy to the point of offensiveness or that condemn others... then again there are people who want to bash others and get hte points at the same time

People force their beliefs by involving themselves in politics and trying to pass laws that forces other people to follow their beliefs, such as concerns abortion and homosexuals. They seem to forget that God intends to destroy all the nations of the world, along with those who involve themselves with them.
