That public shools are allowed to teach about evolution but they can't teach about God!? How is it fair? It's not! That's not fair to christians! The separation between church and state thing is ridiculous! It says on a frickin' dollar bill "In God We Trust"!!! Who came up with that dumb idea?! What do you think?

I know you hate that... but it got your attention. Why do so many christians feel the need to bully other people into beliving the same thing. Are christians that inscure? Is that why you feel the need to gather in large groops ( silently judging each other; i used to go, and i heard the whispers)I mean, come on, there is telling someone about god, and there is harrassment. How are churches diffrent from cults? Because they are socially accepitable? i would like to know your thoughts. (sorry if some spelling is off)

Could it be the evil one? That's why she is wearing a mask. We can all pray for her deliverance because unless she repents she will burn for eternity and she is under the influence and doesn't realize it.

If it is ok to cram religion down peoples' throats and attack atheists because you believe in God then why is it that I cannot burn stupid people who mangle and destroy all of humanity's achievements (you know like anti-evolutionists who don't even understand the theory and claim we decend from monkeys)?? You are trying to save someone from Hell and I am trying to save the species from Hell on Earth..same thing so why would I be bad but you are "god's special little guy"?

Summarizing their beliefs:

Jains do not believe in any creator like God

According to Jain beliefs, the universe was never created, nor will it ever cease to exist.

Jains believe that reality consists of two eternal principles, jiva and ajiva. Jiva consists of infinite identical spiritual units (life); while ajiva (non-jiva) is matter in any form or condition: time, space, rest, matter and energy, and movement.

Both jiva and ajiva are considered eternal; they are never born or created for the first time and will never cease to exist.

Jainism does not accept the belief that a divine being is responsible for creating pleasant or unpleasant situations.

Jains avoid harboring ill will towards others and practise forgiveness.

This is a serious inquiry please.

Sometimes I measure my world according to the things I know and in some way make it look like a circle in my head.

But the more I know about a certain topic, the more I can see into the concept or object being observed and it freates deep thought, but the thought changed my awareness to that of a daydream, and my focus was not on the physical earth.

So, the more I know, the more I can see but this creates a sense of space not measured by modern measurement devices.

I'm not an athesit but want to understand a sincere atheist response. Thanks peace

Would you believe in God?
A self proclaimed (weak) agnostic-who is a regular on yahoo answers religion and spirituality section-said, "God is a defined concept"
Xtians believe their God/Religion is the only truth. Have you been duped into thinking that the concept of god is defined by them?

If not, then why is nobody challenging the animists and the pagans...how come you don't make fun of Ganesh? Is it possible that the only concept of God that is recognized by you is the Christian one? Even though you don't believe in God, doesn't that make you ethnically christian? Instead of saying: "I don't believe in god, couldn't you just say, "I'm not Christian". Or, "I'm recovering from Christianity"

Note: Christianity includes Juadaism, Catholicism...

what is wrong with this people?

God made everything in six days. He did this, by the way, to set a pattern for mankind, which has become our seven day week (as described in Exodus 20:11). God worked for six days and rested for one, as a model for us. Furthermore, Bible scholars will tell you that the Hebrew word for day used in Genesis 1, can only mean an ordinary day in this context.

We are told God created the first man and woman—Adam and Eve—on Day Six. Many facts about when their children and their children’s children were born are given in Genesis. These genealogies are recorded throughout the Old Testament, up until the time of Christ. They certainly were not chronologies lasting millions of years.

All persons are invited to read into their experience(s) what they will, but once again, please no scripture or copy/paste.

Thanks.

Is it because of arrogance or do they think that DNA is just an accident. Can we break apart a wrist watch and put it in a bag and shake until it's back together by accident? What are your reasons?
