Well, I was thinking to day at work, reading some of Brian Greene's, The Elegant Universe and thought of this.

Although I am into metaphysics and spirituality, I am cheating myself without understanding the edge of reality proven by science.

Is the spirituality necessary for me only to feel at peace with myself or is it benifting me in other ways?

So I did a Pros/Cons evalutaion and am still at a standstill.

The spirituality may have alienated me from some groups or concepts but inevitably showed me what my dreams and goals mean and how to achieve them.

But, the science is repeatable and is fact even if it's on the physical level.

However the concepts explored by myself during deep thought and meditation are real also, as I use my knowledge to define myself.
I guess it comes down to what your definition of yourself, if it involves concepts and your role, it has metaphysical tendencies regardless. For they are not provable.

Anyways, the original question?

Let me tell you something if you are... Why are you so brainwashed? If you think you are talking to a god, then see a shrink! You are hearing voices! If you think you see something, do the same! You are hilusinating! If you need to talk to someone, there are living ppl around you! Face reality, you live now! Dont stick with something from way back that no living person can actually say is true! Thats just my point of wiew! religion is just all crap! Thank you!

So many people put so much faith in the Theory of Evolution. I'm just wondering if people really think it's based on fact or not. Christians are accused so much of "blindly following" what their pastors tell them the people making the accusations never stop to wonder if they are being decieved. Observation is biased on the soul fact that there is an observer. I understand there is a system of checks, but no more than there are in the spiritual community. I think it is inherently dangerous to simply accept what you were taught in school as absolute truth. Evolutionist, try thinking for yourselves. Yes science has done some amazing things. Physics for instance has improved the lives of many. But physics is something we can observe right here and now. When studying life origins you will have to make assumptions and to estimate. It's in the genes.

Jesus cares about each of us heart and soul-what is he to you-did you like the movie the Passion of Messiah-it proved Isaiah's promise that the messiah would die for our sins and see his seed spiritually, and offer to be our best friend in that-Isaiah 52vs13-53vs12 before he comes back again.

Zechariah 12vs10 Thus saith the Lord, we shall see him that we pierced and mourn as a mom for her only lost child."

The color question is somehwat shallow, but arguable. Gases create color, but why would nature integrate them into life in shapes and designs? I'm not trying to prove a point. I would like to read something about this. For self-knowledge.

Do you feel that you will have no responsiblity toward God and the course of your life?

This is with no disrespect intended, remember the people in the days of Noah who were taking no note when the flood came.

If you really want to know the truth about how life got here....

Don't you think it's biased to discard the idea of a Creator?
An unbiased person seeking to find the truth about life would consider ALL the evidence before deciding - therefore making an informed choice.

What does the fossil record actually show?

The Bulletin of Chicago’s Field Museum of Natural History pointed out: “Darwin’s theory of [evolution] has always been closely linked to evidence from fossils, and probably most people assume that fossils provide a very important part of the general argument that is made in favor of darwinian interpretations of the history of life. Unfortunately, this is not strictly true. . . . the geologic record did not then and still does not yield a finely graduated chain of slow and progressive evolution.”—January 1979, Vol. 50, No. 1, pp. 22, 23.

President Bush was that answer to my prayer at his innaugeration. He isn't ashamed of the name of His Lord.

Also, a military person was legally accused for praying in Jesus name, and President Bush said that He believes chaplains should be able to pray as they believe. He let the military handle the legal matters though.

Quran 20:53 "He (Allah) Who has, made for you the EARTH LIKE A CARPET spread out" http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/020.qmt.html#020.053

How do you like Allah's comparison? Rate it on a 1-10 scale. Can you make a better comparison of the earth...type one if you dare....try to do better than Allah...I tried and I cant.

10 points to the person who both rates Allah's comparison and offers a competing comparison.

Ex: "Allah gets a 4 and I might compare the earth to a square piece of cow dung...i think thats a better comparison"

How come none of the other writes mention this "Dawn of the Dead" Moment, seems it would be important enough.
Matthew 27.51-53
"And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split. The tombs broke open and the bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs, and after Jesus' resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many people." NIV

Christian mobs torched cars, blockaded roads and looted Muslim-owned shops in violence touched off by Friday's executions of three Roman Catholics convicted of instigating attacks on Muslims. Some 200 inmates escaped after mobs assaulted a jail in the town of Atambua, sending guards fleeing to the nearby jungle. By midday only 20 had been recaptured, deputy national police chief Lt. Gen. Adang Dorodjatun said, calling on the others to turn themselves in. And on the island of Flores, the executed men's birthplace, machete-wielding mobs of Christians ran through the streets Friday, sending women and children running in panic, police and witnesses said. Police and media reports said at least five people were hurt, including a prosecutor who was hospitalized with stab wounds. Fabianus Tibo, 60, Marinus Riwu, 48, and Dominggus da Silva, 42, were found guilty of leading a Christian militia that launched a series of attacks on Muslims in May 2000 that left at least 70 people dead.
