How come none of the other writes mention this "Dawn of the Dead" Moment, seems it would be important enough.
Matthew 27.51-53
"And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split. The tombs broke open and the bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs, and after Jesus' resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many people." NIV

Ephesians 4:8 (which is a quote of Psalms 68:18) "When he ascended on high, he led captives in his train and gave gifts to men."

When Jesus ascended, those who had former been captives to death went with him "in his train" meaning as part of his victory parade. The gifts that he gave were the gifts of Spirit which would fall 10 days later on the day of Pentecost.

If you read through the gospels, and then compare them to I Corinthians 15, you will see that there are appears of Jesus to people after his resurrection that are not mentioned in the Gospel (which specifically say that Jesus said and did many more things then they recorded). Including an appearance to over 500 people at one time. The fate of these other resurrected saints is one of those events that does not get listed. It was of less importance than who Jesus was and what He said and did.
