A friend and I have been experiencing things "split in half" lately. Me a tree that was half green, half orange. She, half of the world was in shadow, the other half bathed in sunlight....even her car!

Have ever been threatened by a Muslim??? I'm not trying to incite hate here, but I AM curious.

The Muslims claim to be peaceful, but I have lost 2 friends to the Muslims, and my kids and I were threatened with beheading (really) when I happened to get into an argument with the Muslim man who sexually propositioned my son.

So, I've got to ask, how many of you have had a similar experience?

If you claim no god exists and no one provides you with proof that convinces you to the contrary here and now, do you assume you are right?

If I claim none of you are human and none of you provide evidence that could not be duplicated by interactive software, and you cannot provide proof to the contrary here and now, shall I assume I am right?

I have been really interested in learning more about the buddhism.Everything I learned so far about the religion and buddhist way of life made sence to me,but I dont have any buddhist organization nearby and dont know where or how I can start practicing or learn more about it. Any advice?

I write articles for my weekly church bulletin and am inspired by many many subjects. However, as a woman, when it comes to topics to encourage men, or just on the subject of men, I find myself really reaching for inspiration to know what to say. I will search the bible, pray and have asked my husband, but GUYS, I need your help, too. Also, I have been able to really help and encourage my brother and many male friends, but writing something succint and concrete is challenging me! Thanks, this is very valuable to me.

...where do our thoughts and memories go when we die?

If our thoughts are mere chemical reactions of energy and such in our brains, then that energy stays in existence in some manner, and theoretically could be recrated...so, is it possible our thoughts and memories remain in the atmosphere forever? Would this be a crossover of science and religion?

Long story short - when he's around good people, he's the best person to be around. When he's around the wrong people, he falls into drugs and bad habits. When he's with my friends, he acts like such a good guy, and when he's with his other friends he just wants to do drugs and have sex with girls that are too young for him.

I'm sick of it. I'm tempted to give him an ultimatum - either them or us. Either leech off his other friends for drugs or get a job and hang out with people who are a good influence on him. He's proven he can't do both.

I just want him to make an honest living and have respect for himself and for women. How do I tell him he's on a path to destruction in the most loving, compassionate way possible?

Thanks for some answers here on Yahoo (you can find God speaking to you THROUGH OTHERS and EVERYWHERE), I have found that when I worry( which I do ALOT) it is because I don't TRUST God's protective care. Is the current media attack on the Pope, really an attack on Christianity and Islam ?

Is this the work of some special interest group ?

In particular perhaps the radical gay and lesbain network may be at work, attacking not only the Pope, but Christians and Muslims who are being manipulated into the agenda ?

In NOrth America, the gay agenda has corrupted and manipulated itself into many areas under the disguise of not revealing their own political agenda which is in total contradiction with both Christians and Muslims.

It would appear that the anti-catholic, anti-pope remarks may be from a source, that may include the gay and lesbain agenda of manipulating the Catholic Church, and or creating friction between Christianity and Islam, two religions that do not condone gay and lesbian lifestyle ?
