Don't you think it would be good for Christians and Jews to extend good wishes for a blessed Ramadhan to Muslim friends this year? Don't we all need each other now more than ever before to celebrate Ramadhan in peace? And Yom Kippur. And Christmas.

Blessings and good wishes to all Christians, Jews and Muslims of good will. Peace onto you and yours in body and mind.

(Thank you, Isis, for reminding me of my manners; I am humbled)

I am an atheist and I, personally, do not celebrate holidays, but I was brought up with manners and taught to bring peace and harmony wherever I drew a breath, never to have animosity or hold a grudge. To respect others and rejoice in our differences because that is what draws us together.

Isis, again, thank you!

Well done Isis... We truly need this spirit nowadays.... the world is getting filled with hatred, with very little understanding and tolerance.... I totally agree... I know Muslims who would wish their friends from other religions all the best on their holidays and special occasions... I guess it's only fair and decent to do the same to them... let's all spread some love and peace out there.... it costs nothing, and it gains you loads...

From this Christian to you: Happy Ramadhan and Shana Tova (for Rosh Hashana) to everyone who observes either tradition.

Sure, have a good Ramadan and Yom Kippur, just don't interfer my pork sausage stuffing, or my pork sausage rolls, at Christmas time.

Thanks a lot Isis, as we say in Arabic Ramadan Kareem ( which means that Ramadan is generous cause it is the month of generosity)
