Refers to a person, or groups of people who believe that other people (who aren't part of their group) are inferior; and, thus, deserving of subjegation to the supreme group. Islamists, for example are the largest supremacist group on the planet today.

A supermacist is one who thinks that he or she is superior to all others on account of a particular trait. For example, the white supremacist believes him- or herself to be superior to all other races of people on account of the fact that he or she is white.
