This is the only one I can think of right now:
Judges 19:29 : "When he entered his house he took a knife, laid hold of his concubine, and divided her into twelve pieces, limb by limb, and sent her throughout all the territory of Israel."
Peace.

Has neither blood transfusions or organ transplants had been developed at the time, there is nothing in the Bible on the subject. There are some verses about avoiding contact with blood in the Old Testament Law, but that was in reference to either touched blood from a dead animal or eating meat with the blood still in it. Nothing to do with blood transfusions or organ transplants. One New Testament scriptue in Acts 15, where the early Christians are told to avoid adultry and blood. But the word "blood" there is everywhere else it appears translated as "bloodshed". So appears to be talking about violence, not "blood"

I have recentky had a Liver transplant. I now do volunteer work for the Trillium Gift of Life Network in Canada, this is an organization that promotes organ donation. I do not know the Bible well enough to know every paragraph but I do know that most religions either promote it or say it is individual choice as it allows others to live. Some religious groups do not allow it but they are not the ones who would consider the Holy Bible to be their following.

Why would you bother to look at the bible. It is an ancient text full of hocus pocus and taboos that today no longer apply.
The science today for drawing or administering Blood is safe and thousands of pints are collected and delivered daily.
The organ donation is scrutinized so tightly and done so routinely as eliminate errors.
The spiritual reward of knowing you have given of yourself to someone in need should be reason to have no fear.

Genesis 9:5
and Acts 15:19Â 19Â Hence my decision is not to trouble those from the nations who are turning to God, but to write them to abstain from things polluted by idols and from fornication and from what is strangled and from blood.

He told the Hebrews not to "eat blood". That is what some will base that on (like Jehovah's Witnesses).

God will resurrect our bodies in the end anyway--I think He could put them back together.
