A friend and I have been experiencing things "split in half" lately. Me a tree that was half green, half orange. She, half of the world was in shadow, the other half bathed in sunlight....even her car!

The dual nature of the world and existence...good vs evil, right vs wrong... and the fact that both poles exist within each of us and everything, all the time. Being aware of this allows us to exist more completely and be more cognizant of the decisions we make and how they affect others and the world around us.

Could mean several things. It could mean that she's half done with something. Or that something is half over. It could mean that she is missing something.

I suggest she do a divination and find out. Has she done a candle drip, they are very easy.

You'll need:
Votive Candle of appropriate color based on need
Bowl with at least 12 oz of water in it
Matches

After Blessing your supplies set the bowl on something flat whether a table or the floor.

Light the candle and ask it your question. Some peope think of a chant for their question before hand.

LIke:
Candle, Candle show to me
Why it is the halves I see.
(Aren't Chants simple?)

After the candle is melted signifigantly take it and turn it upside down above the bowl of water. The wax should pour out and give you an answer. This answer might be symbolic or straight forward. There are several good sumbol guides you can get.

Good luck.

Things splitting in half is the beginning of life. The two halves should be equal.

What's happening with you and your friend is more like a strict seperation of the two opposites: yin/yang, light/dark, good/evil, male/female...

My insight is that you both have a choice to make; and you may be struggling with it.
P.S. I'm talking about a literal choice/decision; not about spiritually embracing one side or the other

i think tsdeck5 explained it well. what's been going on in your lives lately? everyone has a "shadow" side, that is not literally the evil side of you, but the side you choose to hide or ignore... your side that you are uncomfortable with. getting to know it and accept it is a big part of life.
