Do all Christians fast during lent? Of course not, most people just are not that pious no matter what religion they follow.
The main difference is that when a Christan does follow the bible word for word he does not curse, cheat, covet, steal, kill, etc.
However when a Muslim follows the Koran word for word, he/she murders, lies, cheats, rapes etc and its all in the name of God.

Ramadan is a fasting from sun up to sun down. I am not aware of dietary restrictions
