Absolutely yes. Your question is not the least bit offensive.

Once Jesus died on the cross, mankind became reconciled with God and the gates of Heaven were opened.

Regardless of whatever creed you hail from, when our bodies pass away from this world, our souls will encounter Jesus in the next; at which time He will judge each and every soul as either worthy of entering the Kingdom of Heaven (either now or eventually) or whether they have damned themselves to hell.

We must be careful here, however. Souls will, or will not, pass Jesus on account of the standards put down by the Almighty - not our understanding of the Standards put down by the Almighty.

In other words, no one can judge anyone else as saved or damned, based on any criteria known to us.

There is no RC, who only goes by the strict teaching of that cult, who know if they are even going to get into Heaven. Not even the pope knows for sure he will get into Heaven. Only those of The True Christian Faith have the assurance of Salvation. Only those who come to God in The Way He proscribes recieve His free gift of Salvation and will enter Heaven.

The key word in your question is "only"... for the RCs they must also follow all of the dogma of the cult to , suposadly, recieve , maybe, what they think salvation is...at some time after they end this mortal esistance.... this is compleatly against the teaching of Jesus The Christ...thus the RCs are not of The True Christian Faith.

And the teaching that even non-christians will go to Heaven is further proof that they are a decieving not saveing cult opposed to the teaching of Christ... nowhere in Christ's teaching can this be found.

Catholics believe that Jesus death on the cross is a part of the road to salvation.
Vatican II (1964) also proclaims that "good works" and membership in the Roman Catholic Church are also required to attain heaven.

(No offense taken by this former Catholic)

As a cradle Catholic, I believe that Catholicism is not for everyone. All people have their own personal path to God. I certainly believe that Jesus' death and Resurrection is the surest way to God, but people who are devout in whatever their faith is and treat people according to the law written on their hearts will also be welcomed into the kingdom of God.

They believe that absolution through a number of ceremonies is the only salvation. The idea that Christ died on the cross to rid mankind of his sins gets a little lost in the process.

Yes. Here is the joint declaration of justification by Catholics (1999), Lutherans (1999), and Methodists (2006):

By grace alone, in faith in Christ's saving work and not because of any merit on our part, we are accepted by God and receive the Holy Spirit, who renews our hearts while equipping us and calling us to good works.

With love in Christ.

No they do not. but they beleive that the grace of God that comes through the Holy Spirit to allow salvation to be possible comes through the prayers and work of the Catholic church. But you don't have to be a Catholic anymore.

Do you mean what does the Catholic church teach about salvation? Because one thing we have going that is different from most Protestant teaching is that the Catechism of the Catholic Church explains how even non-Christians get into Heaven.

Yes---"No one comes to the Father except through me". He said this and also if a person understood sin and what their soul looked like, they wouldn't want to be saved unless Jesus cleansed them by putting to death their sins on the cross with him so we could go free and rise with him as a new creation.

Catholics believe that God can save whomsoever it pleases him to save, whether Christian, Jew, agnostic, atheist, pagan, etc. but anyone whom he saves is saved solely by and through that grace, entrusted to his church, which Jesus obtained for us by his death on the cross.
