What I meant was what side would you be on, or would you be involved?
I am one of the people that these Christian Jihadists would target, so don't suggest that I'm proposing a war

Jesus preached peace.

I would not fight.

I am a Franciscan. "Make me an instrument of Your peace."

Are you stupid? If you think about waging a war against non-Christians then you are no better than those "jihadists." I seriously hope other Christians are more intelligent than you or did you not understand what "loving your enemies" mean? Didn't your personal lord and savior specifically order you to do that?

I think just pointing out the lunacy of religious fervor is good enough. Social disgust and ridicule is what is needed. As for "war", it would be just like the Christians to kill for their alleged belief in so-called "god's love". Just look at the trailers...they even say that they should train the children the way religious cults in the middle-east do.

NO. Jesus said "Go unto all nations", that doesn't mean, "If they don't like it, kill them". I don't believe Christianity is a forcefull religion. I think we need to follow the Great Commission, but there are more effective ways other than killing people. I would not fight in this war. I feel it's wrong.

A war for the sake of killing non christians because they are non-christians isn't biblical.

"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal (physical) but mighty in God (spiritual)
for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing
that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought
into captivity to the obedience of Christ". (2 Corinthians 10:3,4)

I don't think there is any call for war.
To each their own, as long as no one's violating each's rights, etc. I respect the rights of others to make a different choice than I did.

I believe in freedom of conscience and would oppose anyone who seeks to take that cherished freedom away. I would prefer not to harm anyone, ever, but I would not stand idly by while this right, which so many fought to establish and so many have died to protect, is destroyed. I would oppose--by peaceful means, if possible, but with all my might--any Christian, Muslim, or fellow Humanist who sought to take away that liberty. I owe that to my forebears, myself, and my progeny.

"Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves." ~Abraham Lincoln

There's never a good enough reason for war.
