Why would we stop evolving?

Apparently the military trains psychics, must be credible somewhat

since we only use about 10 % of the brain .. perhaps in our evolution we will learn to use more ... maybe it is lying in wait
i believe that everyone is psychic to some degree .. i would love to see more study being done on the percentage of brain used with those who are more developed in using that intuition more

"Aparently the military trains psychics."

Sigh.... is there proof first of all? You say apparently...

Also, we haven't stopped evolving, it takes thousands, if not millions of generations for something to change. We don't live that long so don't expect to just look out your window and see evolution happening (mostly cuz it happens between generations and not during life).

You CAN see changes in life that breeds faster and therefore goes through generations a lot quicker - such as bacteria and insects. Bacteria quickly mutates and can soon become immune to antibiotics. Butterflies in Britain have been observed that changed from their original white colour to a dark brown to match their changing habitat.

No more citing self-biased, evangelical creationalist sites thanks, I'm tired of reading stuff that minces its words, twists the truth, misquotes and draws it's own 'scientific' conclusions from evolution theorists' work.

we haven't nor has anything else. Why can't you creationist's get your mind around this......ok here it goes slowly and if you have questions please raise your hand......you (and me) are alive for perhaps 75 to 100 years if we are very lucky. The world has been around for billions of years and evolution takes hundreds of thousands of years to change even a little thing that would be barely noticable. It's not like watching a plant grow or a storm cloud move across the sky. You are not here long enough to see it. Why is it that is so hard to get across. Your life is less than the blink of an eye to the universe in terms of time. We can only see evolution in what is left behind, rocks and fossils and artifacts and such. Please explain to me what part of this you fail to understand?

If there are 'psychic' powers, and they are rooted in some natural phenomenon, there's no reason they couldn't have evolved. But considering that 'psychics' have been unable to present a testable and rational case for their powers, there's still no reason to believe they have them.

Psychic phenomena are complete bunk. Your question is a non-sequeter. There is no connection between evolution and psychic phenomenon. You've been watching/reading the X-men too much.

What do psychics and evolution have in common? Do you mean physics?

the thing is, humans are not in any enviromental danger. we are in a pretty stable enviroment. Until we are put into an enviroment that could potentially kill off most of the species, we will not evolve.

No. There's no connection between them.

If someone could reliably replicate supernatural behaviour, they are eligible for a $1 million cash prize. No one's ever come close.
