If it is ok to cram religion down peoples' throats and attack atheists because you believe in God then why is it that I cannot burn stupid people who mangle and destroy all of humanity's achievements (you know like anti-evolutionists who don't even understand the theory and claim we decend from monkeys)?? You are trying to save someone from Hell and I am trying to save the species from Hell on Earth..same thing so why would I be bad but you are "god's special little guy"?

So I would say religion has earned quite a bit of bashing since it has dished it out since beginning of recorded history.

I sense some strife in your question. I think a review of recent question will likely show far more religion-bashing on the part of atheists, rather than vice-versa on this forum. Very little reasoned posting in the "discussion" is noted. Perhaps you could explain the evolution of consciousness of the flagellum of a bacteria for us. That would be helpful.
Science finds many holes in the theory of evolution, yet it is faithfully observed by many while important data along with scientific and logical concepts are ignored. Evolution theory has grown so nebulous as to constitute its own religion or at least it is a matter of faith rather than reason.
You can be helful (explanatory) or destructive (inflammatory). Suit yourself, I suppose. Destructive questioners that answer themselves seem particularly peculiar. You aren't alone, though. There are many in this category who reguarly practice this logical and rhetorical irrationality.

Why are you so angry Shaz? People have many different personalities. Some feel a calling to 'convert' or be evangelical in their religions. Others simply share what they know. They aren't burning you and they aren't hurting you. You can walk away from the theories you don't like and you don't have to have contact with the people who irritate you with this. If they are family and friends, you can talk to them and let them know you are gone the minute they start telling you what to believe. We are all special, you know that or you wouldn't have ended your diatribe that way. Please, breathe, relax, and learn to walk away.

I was taught the 'theory' of evolution in school. I did not believe it then, and I do not believe it now. It is a bunch of hog-wash. When you believe in evolution you are eating what came out of the south end of a north bound cow.

I don't see how your statement has much to do with your question listed .. but bonfires are not allowed, usually due to city regulations about non-pollution. Although, if you really wanted one for a special occasion, you could probably get a permit to do so. Good Luck ! :)
