I've had quite a number of my dreams come true. The most dramatic one happened while I was in college. I'd slept late that morning and dreamt I was walking in a city near an ocean; I looked into the sky and saw an incredible explosion, then pieces of machienery falling down.

I awoke, went into the bathroom to take a shower and a dorm mate told me the spaceship Challenger had just exploded. It freaked me out all day because I felt like I was there.

Peace.

Oh my, Spooky! This is a wonderful question. Fact is, I've come to like you round these parts. Your questions are always interesting and insightful.

Spiritual - Having been raised in a Christian household, I always felt like a duck born into a family of chickens. It just did not ring true to me on any level. And even as a child, I could not get my head around the idea that Jesus was Jew so, "Why aren't we Jews?" Being a woman also added fuel to the fire because I saw, first hand, that being a Christian woman was a sentence to a second class ghetto. No real place set at the table for women if you are a Christian. So ... I began the monumental task of researching and learning about other religions. All, in one way or the other, did not ring true to me, leaving me to think that there was nothing out there that would either satisfy or express my basic spirituality as a human being. My "dream" was to find this and very quickly it looked like this dream would never be fulfilled. Until I discovered Wicca. Since then, I've never looked back and this particular dream has been completely fulfilled.

Material - Being a dramatic writer, my dream was to one day sit in a darkened theater and watch an audience watch my writing flicker across a movie screen in the form of a completed film. That dream was fulfilled two years ago. Delicious to say the least!

Mr. Duchovny,
Yes. I was about 8 when I thought that it wasn't right that people should just die. I was a depressed 8 year old because I didn't know God.

It wasn't until I was 24 that I became saved. I know that I will either die or be taken up. I know now I wouldn't have to stay dead, or go to Hell. That's a dream come true.

That experience and C.S. Lewis's The Screwtape Letters inspired a literary monologue, but you didn't want copy and paste, so I'll refrain.

EDIT: Well then! MY LIFE for a thumbs up!!! lol

P.S. I'll post it as a question, I'm sure that you will be looking for it. (not!)

I had a dream I was washing dishes looking out the window above the sink. I woke up thinking it was really weird cause normally a window looks outside but this window was into another room.

About 3 weeks later I travelled to the other side of the continent for my internship and was doing the dishes and was floored when I realised that I was looking through a window into another room. They had added an extention to the place but left the window there. I have had many other ones but I thought I would share this

I had surgery three years ago for two after i kept dreaming the same dream. I finally told my mother about the dream where i came to here in the waiting room and how she was sitting in a chair reading and how she had moved it away from the others. and told her about the lady there with her. she said I could not have know that lady was there she came in after I was put under and left before i got out of surgery also I had never been to that waiting room.we found out from the hospital I had died three times during surgery. The doctor never told me. And this past year I found out God had given me that experience so when my 19 year old was killed I new that it was him that came home to say GOODBYE TO ME.

I have several times. Little stuff mostly. The most memorable would be when my parents and I took a trip to south Texas when I was 14. We'd never been to that town before but I felt like I had. We were traveling down the main street and I kept asking them if we'd been here before and they would say no. I went on to point out what was coming up like certain shops and restaurants. I have also dreamt of having certain conversations and weeks sometimes months later I have them. I've dreamt of borrowing things from people that to that date I'd never met but then I met them and asked to borrow whatever it was. I've been doing this since I was a kid. Never happens if I try to force it though......darn it.

The closest to an answered dream was when I was in a coma. I saw The Lord. He said it was not my time and I came out of the coma. This was when I was a young child.

I have had times when I struggled with a situation and The LORD spoke to my heart (that's the best way I can describe it) saying, "Wait. Don't do anything else. I'll handle it. Trust me." and the situation turned out better than expected.

I don't mean to preach. Based on my personal experience, I have found that my Father in heaven is always looking out for my best interest. For my human side, it's hard to relinquish control.

Sorta. I am in the process of writing a book, and I had a very vivid dream of how the story should go. It was unlike any dream I've ever had - there was something special about it, I have no doubt. Now whether it was God or my subconscious, I don't know. But regardless, I'm using it for my story! :-)

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) told us that after him there will be no more prophets, thus there will not be any revelation after him till the Judgement Day either. However he said that the only revelation that will be left to mankind will be the "dream". It is reported in his traditions.

Narrated Anas bin Malik: Allah's Apostle said, "A good dream (that comes true) of a righteous man is one of forty-six parts of prophetism." (Volume 9, Book 87, Number 112:)

Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "Nothing is left of the prophetism except Al-Mubashshirat." They asked, "What are Al-Mubashshirat?" He replied, "The true good dreams (that conveys glad tidings)." (Volume 9, Book 87, Number 119:)

Narrated Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri: The Prophet said, "If anyone of you sees a dream that he likes, then it is from Allah, and he should thank Allah for it and narrate it to others; but if he sees something else, i.e., a dream that he dislikes, then it is from Satan, and he should seek refuge with Allah from its evil, and he should not mention it to anybody, for it will not harm him." (Volume 9, Book 87, Number 114:)

Therefore I am sure there are a lot of dreams of the believers that are coming true.
