Islam forbids drinking alcohol and requires non-Muslims to pay a head tax to safeguard their lives if conquered by Muslims. They are exempt if they convert to Islam.

With this kind of thing happening in the news almost all the time, how can it ever be peacefully resolved??? This is bigger than just the Pope's quote and I do not see a solution. It seems that the majority of Islam has declared Jihad against any non-muslim.. Do you see a way out or should we start paying the head tax??? What do you think..

As an atheist, I have no problem with others believing what they will. My problem is that most people believe what they do because they were told to. They haven't done the reasoning or research or thought it through themself to come to understand just what in the world they really are believing.

Any thoughts on this?

what do you think of Jesus?
I mean ok, so you do not think he is the son of God, right? but do you still believe he was a good man who tried his best to get people to believe in God, who gave out good life lessons for people to live by? Do you give him any credit at all?

i read both and i found that the koran is NO match when it comes the violence in the olt testamnet!

Moses and David faught battles and wiped out entire cities killing ALL the inhabitants and torshing the cities and enslaving the women and raping the young virgin girls.
ALL because the have foreign Gods, in other words they worshipped differently.
