Muslims, Christians and Jews specifically agree that they worship the same god - the 'god of abraham'.

Not at all. All the religions you mention believe tht there is only one God--theirs. In fact, all the religions you mention use the same early source material--the Old Testament (basically; I believe the Hebrew version has a few more books). Christians and Jews worship the same God but differ on Jesus; many Muslims believe Allah is the same as the Hebrew God.

Whatever the groups consider to be God is the same thing. They are all looking at the same thing, the only difference is perhaps in a name or the way that the people worship the god. That is why there is no sense to the religious wars that have existed from the beginning of man. Everyone is searching for the higher power, all of them are searching for the same thing. It is like a Hero sandwich or a Submarine sandwich, they are the same thing and I shouldn't want to kill you because you call yours a hero sandwich and want tomato on it, and I call mine a Submarine sandwich and don't want tomato, because other than that it is the same thing.

Ironically, considering how they don't get on, Jews, Christians and Muslims all share the same God - even if they don't have the same name for him. Jews are waiting for the coming of the Son of God, Christians believe Christ to have been the Son of God and Muslims believe that Christ was a prophet but not as great as Mohamed - but they are all theoretically believing in the same, one God

There is only one God. Jews and Christians have the same God but Jews reject Jesus, through whom we reach God. Muslims have an entirely different concept of God, one that Christians don't recognise.

Yeah very confusing! lol.
Personally in my own opinion If there is a god, there is only one God, but is interpted in many different forms to different people depending on their faith, around the world over time. You have Mary and Jesus, on the other side of the coin you have Isis and Horus. Its all the same thing in different forms. And which form one feels the most comfortalble in expressing their own faith is up to that individual.

No. Allah is the same old jealous, petty, capricious, mass-murdering psychopathic diety of the Abrahamic death-cults of desert monotheism (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) that is described in the Old Testament... Yahweh... Jehovah... whatever.
Christians seem to think that around 2,000 years ago, this diety developed some kind of Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD), in which he manifested a hippie-like personality (Jesus... spent some time on earth... now can be eaten in the form of a cracker), and a Casper the Ghost-like character with pedophilic tendencies (suspected of having impregnated a 12 or 13 year-old virgin... and being venerated for it).
Moslems, however, do not share that belief; they see him as his same-old psychopathic self, essentially unchanged since his old-testament days... except that he seems to have updated his reward system about 1,500 years ago, when he started handing over virgins (in heaven) to be defiled by insane zealots, as a show of gratitude for them having carried out mass-murder and killing themselves in his name. (I think that's what happens to Catholic nuns, after they die. Where else would they find enough virgins?)
Sweet.
I find him very interesting to note that most Christians... including Christian preachers... haven't got the slightest clue about the historical roots of their own religion, let alone any other religion.

You just asked that, There is only one God and that is God the Creator, Jehovah! The other "gods" are not God, they are false. He created the world, He created all the humans, He created all the plants, animals, stars, moon, sun, rivers, oceans, etc. There is no other God but Jehovah. Sin turns people into fools, and they create gods after their own hearts, but Jehovah God, the Creator, created man after His image. There is the difference.
