I wonder what is written in koran about christ second coming

2006-09-18 06:00:10 · 12 answers · asked by Anonymous

That's right...as much as many hate to admit it, the Scripture says clearly that Jesus is the Son of God...and IS God...
Jesus said, "He that has seen me has seen the Father"....

...why do you think the Jewish Pharisees hated Jesus so much?
And likewise why do you think the Muslims hate Christians so much today? Its because Christians believe in Jesus is God....

Were to commit murder, and was sentenced to die, how would this affect your stance on the Death Penalty?

Meaning, if you are for it now, would you suddenly change your opinion, or would you hold firm in your belief?

Ofcourse not! When will the world understand the hinduism point of that all god, supreme being etc is the same and not the name they have for their god the true god. Do you think god is so petty that he only responds to the name jesus or allah or yahweh but chooses to ignore your deeds and misdeeds.
What we need is to respect another persons beliefs and not thrust your upon them!

In otherwords. I know I exist because I think. But does it also follow that because I make up my own reality because of what I think? Or maybe I make up my own reality and I'm soveriegn over my own thoughts untill I'm met with another soveriegn entity( ie another person).

I guess a lot of us are concerned about the attitude of the Muslim extremists towards christians, now especially since the Pope has rocked the boat with his statements about muslims. What if we all became devout Muslims, would that change anything????

If you were in a plane crash and you were the sole survivor - would you believe that God saved your life and let everyone else die? Or - would you believe that God took everyone else home and left you behind?

If you alone held the choice as to whether your child's murderer would receive life in prison or the death sentence, what would you do?

Lock him up?
Throw the switch?

How did you come to your choice?

All this protest over the pope's statement that Islam is "violent and evil" -- here is how Muslims responded:

"We will break up the cross, spill the liquor and impose head tax, then the only thing acceptable is a conversion (to Islam) or (killed by) the sword."

What part of violence and evil don't they understand?

I asked this yesterday, no one caught what I was asking.

Tree of life in christian mythology is symbolic of Jesus

Romans, they are pagans (not atheists), but they crucified jesus, with a hammer and a nail, on the mount calvary.

So, now that you all have the explanation of the words and metaphors,

What happens if an Atheist (or a Roman) chops down the Tree of Life (or Jesus) in the Garden of Eden (or Mount Calvary)?

Does the question make sense now?

Please, your thoughts.

The One True God identifies Himself through the Bible, as the Creator and by His Name YHVH - the Eternal Most High. As omnipresent Spirit, YHVH manifested Himself in a human Body, born from an Israelite woman by miraculous Divine Insemination, to experience human life at first-hand and to succeed in perfect human nature. In this form, as 'Messiah ben Yosef', God provided Himself as the 'Unblemished Sacrifice' and paid with His Human Life for the reconciliation of 'His lost sheep' with His Covenant. When YHVH died on the Stake as a Man, most brutally murdered by His own Creation, His Spirit never died (for it lives eternally) and in Spirit He was still Omni-presently present throughout the Universe! Thus Messiah could say: "Break down this Temple, and in 3 days I will resurrect it again!" - How would this be done? - through His omnipresent Eternal Spirit. God is eternally ONE.
Isaiah 9:6 is one of the most powerful proofs that Jesus is God: "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father The Prince of Peace."
Isaiah 35:4-6 shows that Jesus is God: "Behold, your God… he will come and save you." This passage goes on to say that when God comes the eyes of the blind would be opened, the ears of the deaf would be unstopped, the lame would leap, and the tongue of the dumb would speak. Jesus applied this passage of Scripture to Himself (Luke 7:22) and, of course, His ministry did produce all of these things. Paul described Jesus as "the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ" (Titus 2:13; NIV has "our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ"). According to Acts 20:28, the church was purchased with God's own blood, namely the blood of Jesus.Jesus is "the image of the invisible God" (Colossians 1:15; II Corinthians 4:4).
Many verses of Scripture declare Jesus Christ to be the God of the Old Testament robed in flesh for the purpose of self-revelation and reconciliation.

Is it possible to become a muslim just by proclaiming that Allah is the only God and Mohammed is its prophet? Don't I have to attend a mosque or talk to somebody?

In The Koran it say, in Sura (Book) Nine, Verse 30 "The Jews say Ezra is the son of God; and the Christians say that the Messiah is the son of God; that is what they say with their mouths, imitating the sayings of those who misbelieved before. God fight them! How they lie!" Osama Bin Laden was a good Muslim.
