If one of the Muslims (leaders) said something offensive to other religions do you think they would apologise so easily?

Leaders of the arrogant imperialists have already defined the links of the chain in this US-Zionist project by attacking Iraq.
The issue of the insulting cartoons and remarks of some politicians about Islam are different links in the conspiracy of the Crusaders, and the pope's remarks are the latest links in this.
The most important aim of these remarks is the creation of a religious crisis in the world and to make different religions confront each other.

The popes explanations were necessary but not sufficient. He needs to say more clearly that what he said was an error and correct it

You know, can we really answer this? I was fortunate to meet a Muslim fellow a few months ago and I was pleasantly surprised. He was as kind a good as anyone you will find. Is he the exception and not the rule? I have no idea.

I worry that we are getting all the negative stuff about Muslims here in the US, and any Muslim leader that is a humanitarian would never be mentioned to us.

I don't think we (especially Americans) have enough information about that culture to answer that accurately.

The popes apology was not sincere, he has not explained in which context he quoted these incorrect views.

The Pope is well aware of the current situation of the Islamic world yet he choose to quote someone whos views would upset the muslim world. He is playing on muslim emotitions and must have been fully aware of the kind of reaction this would have caused.

I dont agree with these reactions as a muslim and I urge any sensible person including the Pope to read other non-muslims writings on the Holy Prophet of Islam: http://www.alislam.org/library/links/eyes.html & http://www.alislam.org/library/mohammadtheprophet.html

No. Instead, they'd hijack a plane and ram it into a building full of nuns and pre-schoolers to prove they were right.

Then the U.N. would see that they were, indeed, right, and station unarmed troops on the border of the muslim country to protect them from unreasonable aggression from the evil western countries.

No. They say something offensive by their Imams and leaders and threaten to kill anyone who is not of their religion. They want eveyone else to apologize to them and then they don't except the apology. They want you to grovel and convert or be killed.

Not really. They've already said a lot of things and don't show even the slightest concern for how people feel.

The Pope didnt really "appologize". He jsut said he was sorry they were offended. He Everyone got the wrong idea about what he was saying.
