I'm not at all sure that my religion is true, but it makes sense to me . There are still many people who don't push their religion on others.

I'm not sure it's true. Most events that comprise an organised religion text happened so long ago and were passed down by oral and written tradition that can't exclude embellishment by the desseminator. [see e.g., the book Misqoting Jesus: The Story Behind Who Changed the Bible and Why ].
Religion serves many goals, but I'll focus on two for the purpose of this discussion: First, its a mechanism for setting pro-societal standards of conduct. Most of religion sets rules that help create a cooperative society and interlocking culture. Second, as a means of connecting ourselves to a greater being or our place in the universe.
Selecting a religion is a consuming task because so much of who we are is based on our culture and how we relate (or chose not to relate) to a higher power, usually set in place from the society or family around as we grew up and became the person we are. It's a sensitive thread that weaves through our psyche. If you can remove yourself from your upbringing and surroundings for a thorough analysis, I'd suggest picking the one that gives you peace of mind in both the rules/mores it sets and/or the one that permits you to best deal with your place in the universe.
I believe we can't really be sure of which path is true, if any is/are. I think that if you take the time-tested positive lessons of the faiths (golden rule, for example), or the faith you choose, to heart and disregard the part you truly can't justify, you can't really go wrong, [though you can't hide behind the words and not spirit of the faith either]; with a true commitment to these positive aspects, a Higher Being will "forgive" you if you're on the "wrong" path. Humbly accept the certainties and uncertainties for the path you choose and seek your own peace; attacking other faiths, a lot of the time, shows your own inability to truly resolve your doubts about your path.

I was brought up as a Christian. However, the decision was totally mine. I would say that I have only recently become a Christian.
For a start, I can understand and relate to the Bible, and believe that it is true, for me it must be true. I can't understand how evolution could have occured without the help of a superiour being. However, the reason I chose Christianity was because I was brought up with it, but also because I feel a real connection between me and God.
I really feel as if something is there. For example when I am in Church, I get goosepimples almost with excitement and really love the atmosphere. I can really make a connection with God and I love Him. For me that is really the only thing that matters. Religion for me is just a relationship with Jesus, it is just a part of my life, and is amazingly special to me.
I'm not sure about the accuracy of the Bible, and can't really comment on how historically correct etc it is, but I know it is true because I believe in Jesus. It is quite hard for me to understand. Fact dosn't matter for me to be honest, I know it is true in a way that only I can explain for myself, and that is really all that matters. Prayer and a connection with God is something that you can only understand if you have experienced it.
I'm not really sure what else to say! Hope this helps!

Being Jewish, I have several reasons for believing my religion is true. That's not to say other religions contain truths and good things in them, because most of them do. Yes, I've studied many religions. Only Judaism was a national revelation. Jesus' revelation was only to a few of his apostles, and Paul. Islam's revelation was through Gabriel to one man, Muhammad. Yet, Judaism was revealed to large groups of people several times. That alone gives it more credibility than others. Judaism also espouses peace, humility, and good works. Most other religions are based on reward through faith, not good works. Judaism states that if you are righteous, you will be rewarded in Olam HaBa (the World to Come, a sort of Messianic Age). I was born into Judaism, and I wasn't. My mother has Jewish blood, and I was talking with one of my friend's fathers, who happened to be a Conservative Rabbi, told me I could follow Judaism without going through the conversion process. So I did!

I wasn't raised relgiously - my Mum taught me about many faiths - there was always books around, and I read a few. I also took the mandatory R.E lessons and spent time with both Roman Catholic and Old Catholic priests. I am a taoist, and I first learn about Taoism when I was about 13 - my Mum has a few books on the subjects, but I didn't really get interested in it till about 17. I know its true, as its true for me - and thats all that matters. I have my faith, and anyone else is welcome to theirs!

I grew up knowing I was Jewish, but thats about it. I actually did research on it, and when I got into college, I took a course on world religions. I cannot be 100% sure my religion is true, but I have made my decision to be Jewish.

I did search for "my" truth most of my life, and I did investigate other religions, in some depth. I am Deist and I believe that my "religion" is true for me, I can't choose that for anyone else and would never think of it.

I wasn't raised in any faith and knew next to nothing about any of them, but one day I was invited to a Christian baptism and God met with me there, nobody prayed over me or laid hands on me but God just showed up and filled me with love and peace and healed me from depression. Then I looked at other faiths but none of them come close to knowing Jesus, through whom my healing was achieved, and I've had many prayers answered by Him, and been used to heal others a couple of times. He is awesome!

I'm agnostic, I don't think that any religion is true. I just think there is a higher power.
