Rosie O'Donnell insulted Christians and no appology.
Mel Gibson insulted Jews and he was hammered till he appologized.
Do we hold Jooz(Jews) at a higher standard, that they are forbidden to insult.

No one is better than anyone else. I'm an athiest, and I don't think of myself as being better than Christians, the Jewish or anyone.

That is the problem with society - everyone thinks their religon is better and that they need to scream about it to the world.

Neither are better. They both believe in an inivisble man in the sky watching them all the time. Clearly they're all insane.

... I think Jews deserve a little more respect in modern society however, probably because somewhere between 9 to 26 million of them were killed during the Holocaust. Just a thought.

Mel Gibson is anti-semitic. There is no way around it. He hates Jews. Rosie O'Donnell however was merely pointing out that theocracy is theocracy, no matter which religion is controlling it. Rosie O'Donnell didn't say anything like:

"F*****g Jews... The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world." Gibson then asked the deputy, "Are you a Jew?"

I applauded Rosie's statements. Radical Christians ARE just as bad as radical Muslims; they just don't get the press attention the Muslims get, and therefore, seem more innocent.

Unfortunately, we do hold Jews at a higher standard. If you insult them, you're automatically branded a "Nazi." Such is the result of brainwashing...

How many Jews have you seen kill other Jews, or tried to have them arrested, because their beliefs were different? Christians have a long history of that, even now, in the U.S., such as a George County Sheriff arresting JWs. In Russia, many states have declared any religion, except Russian Orthodox as illegal.

I am born a Jew, but I am a Christian.
God is no respector of persons and one is not better than the other in his sight.
We are all created equal.....

I think this is the main problem in our world today.
Everyone is wanting to be Bigger and Better than the other...
If they only realized that their reward does not come in this world, but awaits for them in the world to come...

The tongue is the most deadly part of our bodies. It's like poison.
Once we speak a word, it can NEVER be taken back..
With our tongue, we can either give life or take life.....
So many people choose not to think before they speak.
Speaking in haste can result in unending problems..

Remember, no one Person, Culture, or Religion is above the other. How can we judge or point a finger at others?
In the end, we will all be judged.

Jews are more regarded in the entertainment industry because there are many Jewish people in show biz. If Mel Gibson wanted to work ever again, or have any support then he needed to make that apology. But there is no one that will stand up for Christianity. Anyone can attack it without retribution.

Jews are more powerful, and have more influence than Christians, and most of us (Christians) don't matter about what someone has said, in fact, we have killed them during centuries... as we can't bring them back to live, or repair the damage done, they have right to say whatever they want...

What Rosie O'Donnell actually said was that *radical* Christians are as dangerous as *radical* Muslims -- and she is absolutely right. She owes no one an apology for that.

We are all Gods children, Our world is made up of all kinds of races and creeds, Just because some are different in color or belief, they should not be condemmed. There is a saying "He who is without sin cast the first stone "
