I've never done this. You might not want to generalize a group of people. I think that the Crusades, the Salem Witch Hunts and the Spanish Inquisitive were all horrible.

It is true that Western societies did terrible things, but we have moved past that. Some Muslims seem to be stuck in the Middle Ages, and the rest of us have learned that the Inquisition, etc were morally wrong.

the place in the hot testomony does it say that the old testomony revelations have been "imperfect"? How could they be, in the event that they got here from God? You Christians rely on old testomony prophesy to coach that Jesus replaced into the Messiah predicted to come lower back, yet now you are going to declare that the old testomony is unreliable?!? Make up your f**king minds!!! The validity of the hot testomony completely relies upon on the correctness of the Messianic predictions in the old testomony. you in trouble-free terms choose to disown the old testomony because of the fact it makes your God look like an entire a**hollow, and you decide directly to pretend he's all love and forgiveness and bunny rabbit memories, whilst in fact he's a homicidal maniac with a short fuse. As as your Savior mentioned, "I and the daddy are one." So whilst Yahweh dedicated genocide on the peoples of Canaan, or flooded the Earth, or offered His very own people into slavery (a minimum of two times that i know of), and so on, the Son did it besides. Even abandoning the old testomony does no longer keep your God's popularity, even however, because of the fact in the hot testomony His habit get even worse if available. in the e book of Revelation he's depicted as destroying the entire Earth by using hearth (breaking His old testomony promise "never lower back to break the Earth for guy's sake, as I even have executed") and sending countless people to Hell for all eternity for the "crime" of no longer worshiping Him - regardless of in the event that they have never HEARD of Him! No straw adult adult males there, merely chilly difficult info that Christians might desire to possess as much as. heavily, how is your God to any extent further powerful than the gods of the Aztecs?

Bonzo's answer says it all. We have smarter animals (Cow, chimp), than people here.
Christians want to talk about the past if it shines brightly on them, but not about THAT past.
Hmmmmm
Islam now is where Christianity was 500 years ago

The fighting in the Old Testament paved the way for Jesus Christ. The fighting in the Koran paves the way for the Devil to attack the sons of God, who are the followers of Christ. the details that you have offered have nothing o do with your Biblical/Koran question. State them in another question, which has been stated many times.

1.) Moses and David were Jews, not Christians. 1500 years worth of difference there.
2.) The purpose for the deaths of the people in the Bible were to, in the long run and in it's purest essence, ensure that the line from Adam to Jesus would be intact and undefiled. Hence, since none knew whether their line would have been the lineage of the Messiah, all of Israel had to be pure.
3.) Please do not lump Christians (that is, true believers in Christ) with Catholics (someone who puts the word of a Pope above the words of Christ). The Crusades and the Inquisition were called for by several Popes (Mind you, Protestant and Baptist Christians hold no allegiance to any Pope. We answer directly to Christ).
4.) Do not assume the crimes done by Christians, or crimes done in Christ's name, were done at His calling. Not all who "talk the talk" also "walk the walk". I am ashamed of those who hurt or killed those in the name of Christ. But also realize that 1.) Not all of them were Christian, as even back then, there were such things as deists, theists, atheists, and pagans, and 2.) 49,000,000 Chinese were killed by Mao Zedung, 13,000,000 Russians were killed by Stalin, 1,700,000 by Pol Pot, 300,000 by Mussolini, and 35,000,000 Americans have been killed by Planned Parenthood... all of which either embraces atheism or is supported by atheistic doctrine. Shall I blame atheism as a whole on the crimes of a few (no matter how heinous they are)? Shall I say that kind of genocide is all based on evolutionary and atheistic doctrine, and is the same style of "Survival of the fittest"?
So, why do you sway people from seeing the truth of atheism by attacking our Book? After all, that's just as hypocritical of you... or, are you immune to the title of "hypocrite"?
Judge a Christian, not just by the name he claims, but the actions he does, which are a reflection of his saved or unsaved status. Just as Jesus preached that "if you say to your brother, Raca [that is, 'idiot'], you are in danger of judgement, and if you say 'you fool', you are in danger of hellfire" as well as "I say unto you, love thy enemy, pray for those who would curse you, and do good unto those who would seek you harm", and that the Bible preaches "Hatred is like murder, and you know that no murderer has eternal life in him".
By the very definitions Christ gave us of what it is to be a Christian... the ones who slaughtered people in the name of the Christ at the witch hunts, are just as damned as the atheists who slaughtered because of their foes' uprisings.
If I proclaim, "I am an atheist", yet I also say I believe in God, does that make me an atheist? No, for the two are mutually exclusive, and by saying so, I am either a liar or a fool. So too is it with Christianity... those who would proclaim to kill in God's name has done something mutually exclusive with Christianity, and prove themselves as either liars, or have been fooled, and by definition, are not Christians at all.
