Ill say it again, hes not arguing against the existence of any God at all, but one of organized religion!
"I shall demonstrate how belief in any God defined by ORGANIZED RELIGION is epistemically irresponsible"

Hi,

have only scanned over gotta admit.

Here is one thing I see different. Not "choice between good and evil". The good and evil, judgement thing is what caused the fall in consiousness. The whole dualistic thinking thing is ego-mind thinking. This is what keeps us in the illusion, the ego-mind (snake) and ties to the world and identification with ego-self make it hard to come out// There is not God and then an opposite of Him in the same scale. That is believing in two powers, God and and opposite or good and evil. This is only "true" in the illusion and what keeps us in lowered consiousness or "asleep".

God is only Light and dualistic thinking keeps us from knowing Him.. Upon regaining Christ consiousness we see the truth is there is only God and we are not seperate, the seperation is illusion...This is when we find our true selves.. That is the waking up you sometimes hear about.

Not everyone understands this as we identify with ego-mind and the very nature of debate is dualistic, thus giving power to the illusion the ego-mind holds us in..

Good question:

When people believe God lets things happen - they have neither studied or read the Bible.

Someone who says they use to believe and because of events in life, now they do not - are putting the blame in the wrong place. People commit these wrong doings - not God.

If you can explain how this world came into being with out God - then there is no need for God. But God and His Word are the only things that have survived through the centuries - everything man has made fades away.

Good Question.

Interesting, although incredibly long winded. I would call it a good observation rather than a "focus of attack". I have faith but not like most. I believe in reincarnation and that everything that happens in life is intended to be a lesson. Some of these we choose. Everything must be learned before we are allowed to join God. All paths to God are correct, some just take longer than others. We learn through wisdom or pain. Each time the lesson is not learned the pain is increased. Do you think no one learns any thing from senseless suffering? Of course we do.

Well as to where was God during 9/11. How many thousands worked in the towers? Out of them around 3000 perished, but how many got out alive? The Pentagon held lots more people too. The planes weren't even half full. So many more people could have died that horrible day. So maybe we should look at it like how many others did God save that day? God didn't kill any of those people. Terrorists did.

The article is pretty long, but I'd say to some of the questions raised that people tend to blame God for alot of things but they fail to accuse the natural accuser named Satan of any wrong doing. When things go good we thank God or thank ourselves and when things go bad we blame God and never ourselves. There needs to be a balance is all I'm saying. Also, how can there NOT be a God when so much things have been created, including humans without a plausible answer as to why except through our God.

Intersesting view...but of course as a believer of God the Almighty I will defend the claim of God not existing...

1. Does God Exist? If yes, where's the proof?

First, does God exist and the answer is yes!
The proof is really simple....

One of the major keys in creation that shows that there is an intelligent creator is....

Organization!

When you look at many of the facests of life, for instance, the Atom..you see something, unique, and complex but yet you see and can determine with your own eye...Organization...

The Electrons circle around the center, nucleus, that consists of protons and neurons, and yet the electrons manage to remain is perfect harmony...

An atom so small has complexity, uniqueness, and yet is one of many of today's creations, that testify to the Organization that can only come from an intelligent designer..

So if you compare the Atom to our solar system..what do you see? Again you see the planets revolving around the sun in perfect harmony, none of the planets crashing into one another or drifting away, but remain in an Organized fashion..

Again the solar system that is so big and as well as something so small as the Atom, testifies to the existence of a intelligent creator...

2. But what of the natural disasters and such that goes on here on the earth, that claims hundreds of people's lives each year, is that a sign of intelligent creator? Is that Organization?

Well, to put it simply, allow me to give an illustration:

A landowner builds a house with all the necessary things that is needed to survive in within the house,

There is food, water, places to rest and entertainment..

So the landlord hands the house over to an individual to live in..

Now the landlord promises the new owner that he will provide anything that he needs, food, water, and entertainment, but he would have to do a few chores..thats all..

Well the new owner becomes rebellious and does not do anything, does not take care of the house, and tells the landlord that he is able to take care of himself without any of his help...

Well as a result the house becomes dirty, holes everywhere, when it rains the house becomes flooded, when it snows the house is freezing and when there is a windstorm the house loses a lot of its materials...

Now is that the landlord's fault?

Just because he allows these horros to occure, is he the one who is causing it?

Will it be wise for the landlord to intervene and help and yet the individual still becomes rebellious, or wait until the new owner comes to his senses and realizes that he needs the landlords help...

The same goes for God!

When God created the earth for humans to inhabit it, he had everthing that we needed to survive in our home, and if we lacked anything or asked anything he will give it to us, but of course, just like the new owner, we decided that we can survive on owr own..

As a result, look how we treated our home,

With War, Crime, Diseases, Famine, and Untimely Death, we can see that the things that goes on this earth, natural disasters and such are being done and we have played a part of it..

Pollution is one of many things that is ruinning this earth and as a result, the earth is acting in the way that makes it difficult to live almost anywhere on the earth...

3. So what has caused people to doubt God?

Well, many of today's so called religious leaders have played a major role in making a lot of people doubt that there is a creator..

Many have, like yourself, looked for answers from people who indulge in philosophy, such as the theory of evolution, the big bang, etc.

But many are mislead because these so called men of God have truly proof false to their claim of serving an intelligent loving God and as a result, many have decided that God just might not exist, because if he did then we won't be in this situation...

With priests molesting children, and religions killing innocent people, there is no wonder why so many hate religion and refuse to believe that there is a God that supports there beliefs or even exist at all...

I can go on and tell you other things that I have come to believe as facts about the existence of God, but again there is only so much I can say, because just like Jesus, he could of told the truth and taught it to the Pharisees when he was under illegal trial, but the Pharisees would have not listened because there minds have been made up in proving Jesus wrong and getting rid of him,

So is true today, many who believe there is no God, choose that course because many if not all refuse to answer to a higher power and live a life that many refuse to live...

But that choice of living or dying is totally up to the individual...

I hope I opened your mind up, if not, at least I entertained the thought,

Have a good one...

It's pretty sound. The author could also have expanded on the biological reasons for religious belief.
