The Sword Of Christ, By Ali Ataie
http://www.voiceforislam.com/SwordOfChrist.html

[Note from the Author: When reading this article, please keep in mind that as Muslims, we do NOT hold the following Bible verses regarding the beloved Prophet Jesus ( Isa-- peace be upong him) to be true. The points made, therefore, are only intended to expose the hypocrisy of the modern-day Christian Evangelical's claim that the Musim scripture advocates violence.]

It is quite common to hear in the West the notion that Islam "was spread by the sword." Did you know that the word "sword" does not even appear in the Qur'an? It does however, appear in the Bible, 434 times!

Islam or muslimism are those followers of a sick fat dirty old man and the facts still portray muslims as brutal ignorant followers of a pedophile (Mohamed). Do you know how many of the brides of Mohamed had, 27-29, and how many were under 12 years old? Thank God could he not have any children?

Hinduism as a religion is secular in nature. Look at the history of india with jainism, shaivism, buddhism etc existing in peace still recognising hinduism as the mainfold religion. The advent of islamic invaders and there was millions of deaths and conversions and destruction of temples and later christianity by the british, portugese and french. All those converts still recognise their castes in the hinduism mainfold. But the christians and muslims would always view others as infidels and hellbound and have destroyed a beautiful peaceful cuture of the India of old.

Did you know that before being elected the new pope, Joseph Ratzinger was the dean of the congregation for the doctrine of faith, linked to the roman inquisition both, historically and in its goal? You don't believe me?

It is public information, you can read it at wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Ratzinger
click on "congregation for the doctrine of faith" to learn about the dark past of this organization.

No wonder why he made such controversial statements. What do you think, both, about his background and his statements?

Though I do not think anyone has the right to kill anybody in the name of any religion, I consider that his statements were ill-intentioned.

Bible Code
The Bible Code is the title of a book by Michael Drosnin in which he claims that there is a code embedded in the Bible by God. The code is revealed by searching for equidistant letter sequences (ELS). The code is called the Bible Code or the Torah Code. For example, start with any letter ("L") and read every nth letter ("N") thereafter in the book, not counting spaces. If an entire book such as Genesis is searched, the result is a long string of letters. Using different values for L and N, one can generate many strings of letters. Imagine wrapping the string of letters around a cylinder in such a way that all the letters can be displayed. Flatten the cylinder to reveal several rows with columns of equal

Like Jim Derwin and the CPD? Shock Jocks? I had a buddy like that. Said he just said radical things to see peoples reactions.
Till a guy reacted on his FAT HEAD with his fists!
Oddly enough, I warned him it would happen!

"The fool who thinks he is wise is just a fool. The fool who knows he is a fool is wise indeed"
- Buddha -

I have mulled over this quote for a long time and think it pertains to agnosticism being the only true path (Buddhists are agnostics) since we cannot logically know either way and Buddha also said:

"Believe nothing.
No matter where you read it,
Or who said it,
Even if I have said it,
Unless it agrees with your own reason
And your own common sense"
- Buddha -

What are your thoughts on this?

I cant beleive she is going to do this to me. She should know better since she is psychic too.

What makes me more mad is she is going to cheat with an astrologer. An astrologer! That just adds insult to injury.

I just knew this would happen someday.

his use of words from the past (the 14th century) has inflamed muslims worldwide. now pope benedict has apologized for the way his words were interpreted. was an apology necessary? do you think it was sincere, or meant to quiet any further backlash against catholics (and christians) worldwide?

furthermore, was pope benedict insensitive? should he have expected this type of response from the followers of islam? what do you think?

I just read this on cnn.com...

"The group said Muslims would be victorious and addressed the pope as "the worshipper of the cross" saying "you and the West are doomed as you can see from the defeat in Iraq, Afghanistan, Chechnya and elsewhere. ... We will break up the cross, spill the liquor and impose head tax, then the only thing acceptable is a conversion (to Islam) or (killed by) the sword.""

Isn't that pretty much what the Pope was talking about?

If the Islamic people want the rest of the world to understand their religion and their beliefs, then why do they react to comments about their violent nature with violence? Isn't this just reenforcing the rest of the world's image of what they are so upset about? I really want to understand all of this. If someone with an Islamic background could explain this to me, I would appreciate it a great deal. Thanks.

Several times, the following question has been asked..."If renouncing your religion would save your child from execution, would you do it?"

Surprisingly, the vast number of respondants said they would NEVER renounce their religion, no matter the cost.

I find this apalling.

Here's the twist.

If you are an Atheist or Agnostic, and someone was threatening to murder your child unless you accept one of the 3 major religions, would you choose to follow God in order to save your child's life?

What religion would you choose, and why?

Religious people, you may answer the question in it's original form, if you'd like.
