Everybody would agree that ' WE ARE WHAT WE EAT ' .In India major population is vegetarian. So the instinct to kill/destroy is least prevalent. We imbibe the qualities of what we eat.The tree gives shade to saint & sinner alike.
Compare the nature of carnivorous & herbivorous animals. The difference is so vast .The effect of food on body & mind is so clearly visible. What more reasons could you ask for.
This one reason is enough. It runs in the blood from generation to generation.Mahatma Gandhi was a pure vegetarian. He preached non-violence,won freedom for us through Satyagraha.Did it happen anywhere else in the history of this world ?
We here hear of gaining kingdoms through bloodsheds even own ones are not spared. But ony in India Prince Siddharta left his kingdom inorder to seek spiritual knowledge.Prince Rama left the crown to keep up his father's word/promise.Prince Bharata ruled the kingdom on behalf of Rama till his return.
Have such things happened anywhere else in the world ?
Our land is the land of most ancient human civilisation, hence our religion the most matured. Our land has seen so many saints & seers.Old is Gold. Our religion being the oldest , it is natural to forgive the newborns their mistakes. No religion can preach hatred & violence. Some people with ulterior motives do so in the name of God.Because God is not a person here to question them. But they will reap the consequences of their own actions.
Our religion is universal.example:
Yoga has nothing to do with religion.
It is the Spiritual Light of the world.

Because although the religions lack any intrinsic governmental value in themselves, they do work as wedge issues to divide the populace. Divide and conquer. Forget equal rights for all, let the majority stomp on the minorities. After all, GOD is on the side of the majority or they would be the majority, right?
It's sad, really sad.

You seem to be speaking way out of turn about Christianity while it's obvious you have no clue what it is all about.
You should do a little homework before posting trash like you are doing.
People like you do a lot of harm to people who are "looking" for something
