Why must I forgive people who have sinned against me? This is what the bible says correct?

When you forgive people who haved wronged you you are beginning to move on and grow as a person. If you harbor ill feelings and get upset about it you can keep that with you for a long time. It can be distructive to YOU. The 'crime' was committed once and is now inthe past. To more forward to forgive in your heart.
