Isn't this the point of free will and free speech? If someone is offended and misterpretted at what we say, doesn't it mean we have to be even MORE careful with our words? Because lets face it, one is supposed to be way up there in Wisdom and Knowledge, and the normal people aren't... so isnt it easier for 1 person to take heed to themselves rather than expect 1000s of people to understand the speech via his intentions... which not everyone can know, since most of us don't read minds.

Am I not given freedom to be offended if a person makes a statement about my parents and is considered sacriliegious in my culture?

Maybe its time film producers or authors get "extremely upset" when their movies/books are seen as Offensive

Wife not working for last 8 months due to recurring illnesses. Husband moves his 5 (yes FIVE) step kids into home 6 mo ago. Wife does all homework, PTA, supervision of the kids etc. Oldest step kid is 22/adult and got job 2 months ago. Husband still constantly stresses about rent, basic utilities, food, and finances. While visiting her I overhear the following...Wife asks husband if 22 YO is helping him with bills. Husband tells her, “You have no job and bring no money to this house so, you have no right to know how much money my child is giving to this house. And anyway I’m not going to charge him a dime for anything. He is free to give me whatever he wants or not but what he gives me is not your concern.” Is this emotional abuse? Should she just go to homeless shelter since she has no money/place to go to get away from this "man"? What would you do/think if you were the wife in this situation?

I was wandering past the beauty parlor today and saw a brace of sailors inside. Can you believe this was prophesised by the prophet Robert in his 1965 prophecy, Desolation Row?

They're selling postcards of the hanging
They're painting the passports brown
The beauty parlor is filled with sailors
The circus is in town
Bob Dylan, Desolation Row

Now how could anyone in 1965 have possibly known that in the future, sailors would be going to beauty parlors? The idea would have seemed absurd to anyone back then.

Our Muslim Brothers believe they have the right to strike people, and kill people,murder people,to strap bombs to them selves ,to murder them selves ,and every body else in there viscinity. I was just now reading up on him and although it doesn't get deeper on his spirituality from the sources I checked out, I wonder what he really believes behind the scenes.

People keep asking if there isa god above god, but what about the god above that.
The term god is very vague and might not even be applicable to this question but the concept can overlap.

Also, are we capable of "being" a form of knowledge that keeps it cohesive?
