Isa 44:8 Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.

most people glaze over this and mindlessly regurgitate pre programs scriptures and miss the point
in the 'infallible' word of god, the battle for the male gods with Mt. Carmel and Elijah, Baal vs Jehovah for equal worship with Asherah, the prophets of Baal loose and Jehovah and Asherah prophets survive the slaughter that ensues after fire from heaven
Old Testament Jews were pantheistic believed closer to Kabalistic teachings of god was male and female and they had idols for both until a reformation and monotheistic takeover later, Old Testament heavily edited down, some traces of female gods there like Wisdom or Sophia
in the new testament supposedly the editors inserted the trinity or 3 in one god...the father, the son, and the holy spirit
and in same bible we are told "don't you know you are gods?" or we make decisions as a god all the time
so,
YES

I am glad you ask this, And you used capital G & a little g for the word GOD. Yes God believes there is another god, The True God IS THE GOD OF ALL THINGS, the god with a little g, is satan, The bible says he is the god of this unbelieving world, But one day soon GOD will bound this god of the earth in chains for 1000 yrs. while Jesus & his Bride rule & reign upon this earth in the Milliennium.

I don't doubt the sincerity of people who believe in many gods and goddesses.
At the same time, as a Christian, my heart goes out to people that believe in many gods, because I know they will never find what they are seeking as long as they stay on that road. Only the one true God can satisfy the deepest longings of the human heart, and only He can give us answers to our deepest questions about life and death. The Bible says, "Do men make their own gods? Yes, but they are not gods!" (Jeremiah 16:20).
Why do I believe in one supreme God instead of many gods? One reason is because it is logical. Where did the world come from? No idol could make us, nor could a thousand different gods and goddesses with limited power. Only God could make us—one who is all-powerful, all-knowing and all-loving. As the Bible says, "The heavens declare the glory of God" (Psalm 19:1).
But I also believe in one supreme God because He has revealed Himself to us! He has not left us to guess what He is like; He has shown Himself to us. He did this supremely by coming down to earth in the person of His only Son, Jesus Christ. I invite you to give your life to Christ, for in Him alone "are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge" (Colossians 2:3).

I think that this is an interesting question to think about.
I think the better verse to cite is the one that says God's thoughts are not like human thoughts, God's ways not like human ways. If we believe God is the supreme being within OUR existence, that is one thing. I think it is presumptuous to speak for God who has thoughts, purposes and activities that extend beyond our realm of being, our range of perception and knowledge.
So the answer to your question is that it is possible, but we do not know all the workings and doings of God.

# one basic tenet in both Judaism and Christianity...
Hear, O Israel, the Lord thy God, the Lord is ONE.
Now people tried to create gods for themselves and that is called Idoltry. God had to instruct them to put no other of these so called gods in His place. Some did, some did not.

that becomes a question when more than one god exists.......
think about it?if there were more than one god wouldnt god compete with god?..woudnt we be seeing so many contradictions in nature, life, around us..like it could be rainin n sunny at da same time...just an example..but yeah u get my point right?
i beleive there is only one God....one Supreme Being...our Sustainer, our Provider, the Most Merciful Most Kind!
