Of course we're weak and morally challenged, after all we're human beings! But the whole point of being a Christian is realizing that we have fallen away from God and our struggle to get back to the place where He wants us to be. It is a day-by-day effort. Do some Christians do evil things? Yes of course they do. Are they forgiven by God...that is up to Him. So where is Hitler and the people who have killed Serbs; or anyone else for that matter? Only God knows that.

In order to get a useful answer you'd have to define what you mean by "Weak" and "Moral". Christians are very strong minded. They are able to live a life of sacrifice, fighting temptation and challenges to their faith. Their lives are difficult, ideally they refuse to take the shortcuts in life that we take for granted. Most Christian faith's follow and almsot opressive moral code, just like any segment of society some more more or less moral but I would wager that on average Christians are significantly more moral in their lives than Athiests. It's just that Strength and Morality only take you so far if your faith is corrupted by the state and you are led to believe that your leaders are preforming the will of God

'Wolf' said, in his answer: "Most Christian faith's follow and almsot opressive moral code, just like any segment of society some more more or less moral but I would wager that on average Christians are significantly more moral in their lives than Athiests."
Well, Wolf... meditate on THIS for a little while. Christians make up about 75% of the US population and 75% of the US prison population. No big surprise there.
Atheists, on the other hand, make up about 10% of the US population... but they only make up 0.2% of the US prison population. Now, isn't THAT a surprise? That means that atheists are FIFTY (50) times LESS LIKELY to be incarcerated than Christians. Pretty strange, huh, for a group that has no god-given guiding moral principals?
I can think of only two possibilities that might reasonably be said to account for this disparity:
1. Atheists are of a higher ethical and moral caliber than Christians, and thus are less prone to do the same kinds of nasty things that land so many Christians in the slammer;
OR,
2. Atheists are, overall, a lot smarter than Christians and thus, they are less likely to get caught in the course of their transgressions.
It's GOT to be one or the other... take your pick.

Hitler rose to power after WWI due to problems in the redevelopment of Germany in the post war years. If there had been certain changes in attitude after the defeat of Germany in WWI the situation might have been very different. the German people were desperate as their country was in great economic stress and Hitler made promises which he kept. the situation was ripe for disaster and was harvested.

You're forgetting the many Christians who were killed or imprisoned under Hitler because they didn't submit (Ever hear of Dietrich Bonhoffer?). Many Christians hid and helped Jews escape the persecution. According to your logic, non-Christians are also weak and morally challenged because they followed Hitler as well.

When Christians follow men as their leader then they stray from good moral judgement. Many that are not Christians would never dream of killing their neighbor because a leader ( Religious or Political) told them to do it.

People who do such things are not following Christ, and therefore are not Christians, no matter what they claim to be.
