It is odd that you list hating gays and lesbians. The Muslim world has the highest percentages of homosexuals in the world. They are particularly common among your military forces, where the homosexual raping of new recruits is a common hazing.
Some of the things you listed show a concern for others. Caring for your "fellow Brothers", whatever that means. (Does this mean you don't care about equality of women in your society?) Some of the things you list are of no importance, like not eating pork, just a perculiar social custom of your culture and certainly not a virtue.
Your religion doesn't need defending. If it is correct it will survive the changes occurring in your culture. If it is flawed, then it shouldn't be defended.
Killing others in the name of a religion, any religion, is an ultimate proof of the bankruptsy of the beliefs of those believers. And, yes, they are terrorists. There is nothing positive about killing innocent people in the name of Islam or any other religion.
The Western world is not fighting a religious war. You are. And you have already lost that war because your justifications are morally and ethically corrupt.
You need to look into what motivates you. What I hear from you is fear and doubt about your own religion, your culture, your ignorance, your hate, your prohibitions. Even your "obey my parents and the elderly" is slavish and just the worship of authoritarianism. What if your parents or elderly are wrong? Why not question them? What alternatives exist? Repeating one more generation the ignorance of the past generations is no accomplishment. Nothing to be proud of.
No, your list about yourself does not impress me. Where is a love of your people, both men and women? Where is the love of art, science, innovation, creativity, and knowledge? Where is the appreciation of the analytical and critical skills that allow us to determine what is true and false? Where is the desire for working with instead of against peoples of other religions?
And you wonder why the Islamic world has fallen so far behind the rest of the world in its capabilities? You think it has something to do with not enough faith. In my opinion it is from far too much dependence on faith, a faith that keeps people locked into a rigid mind set that does not allow any advancement at all.
Islam eagerly awaits the brave moderates to speak out against the radicals like you who mindlessly advocate trivial and false "virtues".

To me you don't sound like a terrorist, only a person withholding their religious beleifs and learning to respect your proper upbringing. Being a Muslim doesn't make you a terrorist and as long as you respect your brothers and sisters from all countries and religions you are doing people no harm.
I think I understand what you are getting at, because you are a Muslim you think that most people of the world think that you are a terrorist, and a lot lot of people do, so what chance do people like you have in living a normal life anywhere in the world. I bet you feel that there are eyes watching your every move where ever you go. If you are a peaceful loving Muslim and want to live a peaceful life, then you have my respect. I am A Scottish gentleman I am disabled and I am A Roman Catholic, I have no grudges at all to people of any country or religion as long as they want to live in peace and love each other.
I hope I have helped you, if you are a peaceful loving person, again as I said before, your question comes over to me like from a person because they are Muslim, you and other peace loving Muslims, because you and all those others I mentioned must think that because you are a Muslim, the world thinks that you are a terrorist. I myself, don't think you are, just by reading your question properly and trying to think of the person writing it.
Just everyone keep this world a peaceful world and love each other.

No i don't think of you as a Terrorist, but how can you call yourself a Muslim, when you use the word hate so much. Much of what you have said is nothing to do with so called religion, it's your beliefs, which you are entitled to, but much of what you have said has nothing to do with God, if you are a true defender of God, and I say God and not religion, because religion is man made, them you would not go to war in the name of God, that is very much against his wish, and should be against your beliefs. .
Look for true faith in being a Muslim, and follow God's way, not man's God teaches us to love, surly you know that?
In the list you have given, hating Gay, Lesbian, being half naked, eating pork, this is man kind talking, not God. Just remember that a man wrote the Koran, just as one wrote the bible. All holy books were written to control man, and to profit, just read the Koran with an open heart, and not one that has closed to the truth, and read with a free mind, not one that has been brainwashed.
Ask yourself this, how much of what you have said has come from you, and not others.
Love & Peace to all

No, you're not but you're not engaging in compassion and understanding. I know that you don't want to hear this and that you'll probably get angry and not listen, but the truth is that you're playing the victim here. Have some compassion for those who misperceive islam BECAUSE of all the islamic terrorists and islamic theocracies (I'm not justifying people's misperceptions but i am saying to have some compassionate understanding). Best thing to do: start a campaign and rally all your fellow muslims to loudly protest each time a group or country does something horrible in the name of Islam.

Why is this in the Religion and Spirituality section? well I would say that you are leading most people to believe that you probably are one. Not once did you say that you were not one. According to your own beliefs you hate to lie, is that why you didn't say you were not a terrorist? I am not against any Religion or race, I am just going by the information that you supplied. Take care.

Hmm. Although I find myself embarrassed to be associated with the human race that can so easily judge and slander someone for their beliefs, such as is evident from the majority of the answers to your question, I find myself wondering why you wrote "Hate" so many times, yet never once wrote the word "Love".
HATE is a strong word my friend. It brings with it nothing but negativity. To HATE shows lack of spiritual understanding and is far removed from a higher state of being.
I know what "Terrorism" means. It is the term used by governments and other large, established bodies responsible for a populace, towards others who, regardless of being right or wrong, challenge their authority by actions that, should they be reciprocated, would be called acts of War, but because War is not declared, more accurately, not ACKNOWLEDGED by the greater force involved, they are considered acts of terror, hence terrorism.
There is a bigger picture than the one all to many people choose only to see. Perhaps that is for the best for now.

Apart from your attitude to gay's and lesbians I have no problem with your beliefs.
However none of the above beliefs make you a terrorist,
Even if you believe that the action taken by extremists in the name of the Muslim faith is valid, such as suicide bombings and the destruction of the World Trade Centre, I would not necessarily believe you to be a terrorist.
It is actions, not belief that make a terrorist. If you have participated in the planning or execution of activities intended to harm innocent civilians in order to spread terror in the name of your cause, then I would consider you a terrorist.

Being that you hate just about everything and everyone, I don't think you are a mainstream muslim. I have no idea whether or not you are a terrorist and really don't care if you are or are not. What makes you think everyone should shake in their boots if you are a chicken-sh*t terrorist?
YOU STILL DON'T GET IT. DOES THE KORAN TELL YOU TO HATE PEOPLE?

no, you're a fanny. You are full of hypocrasy and contradiction. Your religion is not at war, it has been hijacked by militant extremists who prostitute its meaning in the pursuit of power by cherry picking ancient texts and using that of proof that killing non-muslims is God's will. Unfortunately it is caught in the crossfire between the western countries who must have control over the oil supplies in the arab countries which are being brutally occupied. Yet you live in the west and utilise its benefits and freedoms while castigating those who fought for and enjoy their freedom to express themselves in ways that are contrary to your beliefs. If you hate this freedom (and freedom to choose lifestyles that differ from yours is what attracts many in religiously oppressed countries to western shores) then perhaps you should consider living under strict islamic rule in an arab country - but again your islamic beliefs may differ from and incur wrath from whichever school is in power. Grow up.

Until you cross the line and join a terrorist group you aren't one. But, You really do hate a lot, including certain types of people who were born a certain way. You should choose to do or not do all these things in your list and leave others to make their own decisions about their own life choices. Once you start making other people's choices your business, you're on your way maybe not to joining a terrorist organization, but your'e on your way to a miserable existence. Accept others for who they are and yourself for who you are and you will live in peace and comfort. Think about it for your own sake . . .
