how about Moon Dagger?

As Christians, we are all called to witness about our faith and talk openly about Jesus. Now don't get me wrong, that's a good thing to do. But my problem is with certain people who do it.
Like I know a LOT of people who call themselves Christians. But they come in to work or school or whatever, and they don't act like it. They're rude, they're snobby, they cuss at people, they act worse than the worldly people.
And then two seconds later they're all talking about God and saying you need to go to church.
My feeling is, people like this should not be encouraged to witness because they're doing more harm than good.
I understand we all make mistakes. I'm not saying only "perfect" people should witness, cause then no one would.
But shouldn't the church at least try to hold up a standard?

Has Mohmmad your Prophet :-
A) Never killed a single Human Being in his Life
B) Never raped a single woman in his Life
C) Never Converted any Community Under the Sword
(Mohmad led military Campaigns agains Mecca for many years and when Mecca got defeated and captured their rulers and people were finally forced to convert)
History bears countless Evidence that no Empire Converted to Islam until it was destroyed.
In India more than 100 thousand temples have been destroyed by muslim armies and a mosque stands their,
Iran used to be the Land of the Zorastrians(Pharsees) after Muslim armies started attacking it a class of its aristocrats escaped to India and they are now a small community in India(about a million)
Now Iran is of Muslims, even now a few zorastrians exist their have
taken refuge in the mountainious area , and Even now the Iranians who have been converted, on the Day of Navroze(Festival of the Pharsees) celebrate(its an open secret)
So when will you read history books and See that many countries where muslim exists were natives and converted by muslim armies
And they had no intention to convert until they were not forced to do so.

In Islam Modesty refers to being an upright and descent Person whether Man or Woman.

It is a kind of Modesty when you see a Muslim Woman wear a Hijab like this http://garageng.com/woman.htm

What do Christians relate as Modest? Being half-naked?

Ohh my God... Christians have alot of Bad Attitudes... It is hard to find a good Christian that follow the true teachings of the Bible... Most of them are out of the Path (Even in their own religion)...

What is your concern if you see a Modest Muslim Woman, since you can't even explain what is Modesty...

This is my last question for today... Bye to you all...

Live in PEACE!!!

St. Paul said that no man should have his head covered when praying or in church, but women should cover their heads, so how come in all the jesus movies I see, when he is in the church him and all the other men have their heads covered?

It simply boggles the mind to think of the lengths people will go to in order to gain "points".Most don't truly have anything to say..

It could be a decent forum where individuals actually learn from one another...Doesn't seem to be going that way the majority of the time.!!

The common denominator across all religions is simply an acknowledgment that there is a higher force than man.

The rest is all superfluous wrapping paper that billions of people can't see beneath.

Why?

The Internet is becoming increasingly influential, it has been noted by Science teams around the world that heavy Internet users seem alienated from normal social contacts and may even cut these off as the Internet becomes the predominate social factor in their lives. I
Specifically, introverts who frequently used the internet reported less community involvement, increased loneliness, increased negative affect, increased time pressure, and decreased self-confidence...the internet may undermine or foster well being depending on whether it shrinks or enhances opportunities for meaningful, daily, face-to-face contact with others.

In the case of introverted or socially anxious individuals, internet use serves as a way to avoid being alone and may intensify disconnection from face-to-face relationships.

C'mon folks, let's not allow this to happen..I mean we have become subbjects of scientific study? eewwww..Anyone else feel like a lab rat?

i am a muslim turned atheist , and the only 2 people i respect and honor very much are jesus christ and buddha, for their great mercy, love and forgiveness towards everyone. i dont believe in god either.

if every human being today forget god, religion and read the life stories of jesus and buddha , and think to emulate them, this world will be a wonderful place.
(to be honest i dont emulate anyone, but i urge others to follow jesus and siddartha the buddha)

what are your thoughts?

I think Christianity is not a religion, but it is a personal relationship with God, kind of like a lifestyle too. Some examples of religion are the Protestants, Catholics, and etc... As what the popular verse says [John 3:16]............ For the Christians: why need a religion when you can be saved through Christ?

Religion is some what similar to Politics...It what people think.

Any feedbacks on that? Please do, hehe =D!
