I know many atheists/agnostics (my father is one).
I find that many are simply turned off by the judgmental, simplistic, "you are going to hell" messages that are spread by so many.
I find that on the one hand I respect many atheists/agnostics, because they have come up with clear reasons why religion does not work for them.
At the same time, when I reflect on everything I have received by being a Christian, I feel sorry that they are missing out. The love, peace, and strength God has given me has made me a different person, a better person.
Is it possible to be a good person and not have a faith. Yes, but for me, it would have been a heck of a lot more difficult.
peace

Christians don't go by feelings but by faith.
Regardless, we think of them like Christ does. Because we are Christians. Want to know what Christ thinks about atheists/agnostics? See John 3:16-17. It's in the Bible.

Agnostics are people who think there may be a God, but aren't sure about the form God may take, or that there is any way to know Him.
Atheists are people who don't believe there is a God.
Just as I feel about anyone who doesn't know Jesus as their savior, I pray they will before they leave this earth.

They are no worse or no better than me. We've all done wrong, who am I to say they're horrible people? I don't think of anyone as being better or worse, but I am afraid for anyone (athiest, agnostic, pagan, muslim, buddist, etc) that is following the path that doesn't lead to Jesus and heaven. I pray for people to come to know Jesus every day, but that is their choice to make...

I would feel better about Atheists if they would stop trying to push their beliefs on everyone and would stop persecuting Christians...

We should be kind to them and pray for them as we would for anyone else. We are to love our enemies as wll as our friends. We are not to judge for that is for God alone to do for He is the only one that knows the true state of the heart.

We are concerned about them and care about them and are willing to answer their questions as well as we can.
