I agree but I think that everyone else who does not follow Jesus will end up in heaven also. I feel this way because I don't think that God ever makes any mistakes. I also think that God is smart enough to have a plan of the salvation of each and every one of us that is going to work.
This is true faith in God anything else is only having partial faith.

Jesus taught His disciples, His followers, how they should life ...love one another, etc.
However, that is not how we obtain Eternal Life .... for it is God's gift. The only thing that we can "DO" to receive Eternal Life is to BELIEVE.
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved.
God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in/on Him shall have eternal life.
When we accept Him as Saviour then we should also follow Him as Lord.
When we have accepted Him as Saviour then for eternity we will be with Him ... whether it is in Heaven or here on a renewed Earth ... the Key is that we will be with Him and where He is will be Paradise!!

Where we end up is God's choice not ours. We can hope and pray and live in accordance to God's laws, but there is no guarantee.
The only person who was ever promised the Kingdom of Heaven was the good thief.

I think that if we imitate Jesus and if we live in the Spirit we will, but only by the grace of God. By living in the Spirit, I mean being patient, kind, forgiving, compassionate, obedient, humble, in all circumstances. Serving others and suffering in reparation for sin are important as well.

Follow Jesus and you will live forever on a paradise earth. "The meek shall inherit the earth (land in some translations) and they will live forever upon it." Heaven is for God and angels and kings who will rule over the earth.

ALL who ACCEPT Jesus as their LORD and Savior will spend eternity with Him.
I think there are a lot of people, either in churches or not, who follow much of Jesus' teachings who will NOT spend eternity with Him unless they are born again before they die. The church afterall is one of Satan's favorite hiding places.
