Was his Mohel ever mentioned by name in the New Testament? He would be the only person in history to have actually tasted Jesus’ blood. Does that make him an unwitting Christian? Did he gain any “super powers” as a result of having the blood from Jesus in his mouth when he performed the Metzitzah b'peh? It seems to me that would only be a fair trade for having to put your mouth on the infant Lord’s penis.

Serious question from an agnostic, not making fun or anything, but I'm trying to figure out what heaven would exactly be like..

For example, my idea of heaven is friends and family and pets and the whole deal, but no animals go to heaven and many of my friends don't believe in God.

My question is, since there is no universal idea of heaven, is there some sort of cleansing process before you go in? Seeing as if your idea of heaven has your family in it, and some of them go to hell, would it truly still be heaven to you? or like with the cleansing, does that make you forget about them so that you can be happy?

Thank you for sharing your thoughts :)

people to worship me, and I certainly would not tell them the only way to heaven is through me. I find this both disturbing and arrogant. What about you?

Ego, as defined as being the “I” or self of any person; a person as thinking, feeling, and willing, and distinguishing itself from the selves of others and from objects of its thought.

If so, can you explain why?

Intention is the core of all conscious life. It is our intentions that create karma, our intentions that help others, our intentions that lead us away from the delusions of individuality toward the immutable verities of enlightened awareness. Conscious intention colors and moves everything.

and made me believe, my story may have a larger impact on the atheists/agnostics that know me. I may be a better messenger of God than someone who has been a lifetime theist...so why doesn't he spend a visit, or a well-timed lightning bolt on me? Why wouldn't God stop hiding for a second to recruit me (I obviously like to promote my beliefs, I would continue to do so, ESPECIALLY if a revelation made me change them 180)?

Would you put them to death like the Bible says?
Tell them it's a sin?
Let them be who they want to be and be proud?
Say OMG!
or (if your deaf) glad you don't know what they said?
