IF one of my children said they were gay, then YES I would again tell them that it is a sin. But, NO, it wouldn't change the fact that I love them. I would then pray to God for forgiveness in the area that caused them to be confused about any sexual relation outside of the traditional marriage.
BTW Their sin is an abomination to God. But any sin (including premarital sex) will keep one out of heaven.

let them be proud. they are a person just like you and me. they are who they are just like you. im just you have certain preferences that others dont but people still accept you for who you are. not everyone is going to like it but that doesnt mean we should "bash" it or "diss" it. it's not the 90s anymore, homosexuality is becoming more accepted throughout the world now. its the closed-minded christians that can't accept things that they don't agree with or they don't like or that they are afraid of. thats making it illegal in some states. lol so to answer your question ( sorry ) i would just be proud of them and tell them you love them. that is the best thing you could say and it would probably lift a huge weight off of their shoulders. It's not like homosexuals CHOOSE to be that way, i believe they are that way period.

As a parent of four children who are not gay, I would still embrace my child if HE/SHE WERE gay and tell them they are loved unconditionally. I am of the belief that being gay is NOT a choice but rather a genetic issue. I would certainly want my child to tell me if they WERE gay for I would want to be supportive and be a sounding board for them if they needed to talk. "Judge not lest you be judged".....

I'd let them be who they want to be and be proud. I'd do anything for my kids if I had any. I would always want them to be happy and being gay does not bother me.

their lifestyle is their business. i may not approve but i wouldn't stop loving them any more than if they told me they were changing Church affiliations, political parties etc. a son/daughter or mother/father relationship is a relationship no matter what other factors are involved.

I will tell them what I believe, and still love them as my child! I would not welcome or allow any sinful behavior in my home. I would pray unceasingly for my child to see the TRUTH, that God loves them and does not want sexual perversion for His children and neither do I!
