the "wh*re" that sits on the throne on top of the beast, it is describing Paris Hilton. Seriously if you do think about it and I'm am kinda being serious. Look into it it is quite surprising.

This female is a complex metaphore and open to interpretation. I personally believe it is not Paris Hilton. I lean toward the opinion that the "wh*r*" is a representation of a huge and ever present evil which grows to be seen, felt and heard throughout society. Whether that is a geographical location or, a single individual and/or group of individuals by one name is not known and will not be known until it is time to know. I believe John used the term "wh*re" to describe something that he could not quite put into words for his language. A "wh*re" is typically thought to be a woman in today's venacular. A woman has always been a symbol of a vessel or passage for creation of life (with the help of man, of course). Perhaps this "wh*re" is simply a means of creation for something beyond description at the time of writing. Something very, very bad for all. The Book of Revelation is the revealing of John's vision. It is open to interpretation. I do not believe it is a revealing of what will happen, but, more approriately, a vision of what can happen when God is ignored and forgotten.

Basically, mankind will destroy itself for lust, greed, power, money, yada yada yada. Look around. It's happening already.

Look in the mirror and ask yourself, is the person you see the kind of person you would like to be with; the kind of person you would ask for help; or the kind of person who will be there when needed? If not, then the Book of Revelation can be a scary book.

No, this is the Roman Cathlic Church, if you read it even gives the colors that the Cathlic Churches use and the Chruch sets on top of seven hills. Think about it, what is the easiest church to join today, that all you have to do if you sin is go before a man a say a number of Hail Marys and he will tell you all is forgiven, Wrong. Christ is the only one that can forgive sin this man has nothing to do with it

And it says that she will give birth, and the beast will eat, or try to eat (I forget which) the baby. Interesting visuals. But I highly doubt Paris Hilton will be any major part of any prophecy or historic event...trust me on this one.

There are many interpretations. Please keep in mind that these all are based on an assumption of theory about the Book of Revelation in the Bible. Since these events haven't fully happened yet, anyone's answer is only an opinion. Keep focused on Jesus and don't sweat the other stuff. BTW, the book is Revelation, not revelations. There is only one Book of Revelation.

Rev 17:3 "so he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns." This is the church of Rome. Her system and her pope.

And as we wind on down the road
Our shadows taller than our souls
There walks a lady we all know
Who shines white light and wants to show
How everything still turns to gold
And if you listen very hard
The tune will come to you at last
When all are one and one is all
To be a rock and not to roll

The woman is figurative. It depicts false religion and it's role in human government today.
