If you didn't submit your will to the Will of the One True God, you would not know what is good and you have no strength to do good.
I fear that you are in a very dangerous condition for saying that you are pretty sure that God inspired you, while you are not sure at all!
If you really wish to receive God's inspiration, I suggest that you reread the Holy Books and selflessly put the divine teachings into practice.

God inspires many people to understand him as they are capable. He is a teacher, and if you open your mind through prayer and listening, you can receive the benefits of His teaching. Faith is what is important, religion was created by man. Your learning process started before you were born, we call this natural instinct. It continues in this body and after your soul is released. Prayer is common to all religions, and is the only way the soul can communicate with a spiritual guide. If you have peace with the answers you are receiving, then this is the test of truth, and the test of the source of your answers. Patience is necessary, a first grader cannot understand the concepts of astrophysics. People who think they know it all have closed their minds to further learning. You have a decision to make; are you a student, or do you know it all already. Pray for peace and knowledge.

You are destined for heaven no matter what. The original greek word for eternity also meant "for a time"....No one goes to hell for eternity. Doing good deeds is helpful but you must look at your motivation for it. You cannot earn points with God. You are a child of God and you will go to heaven.

That sounds logical ...but a Baptist preacher just came to my door and told me that ...despite being a 'good person' and no matter how much good I do...I am not going to heaven until I get saved.
I agree with you...thank God. I don't care what the Baptist guy thinks...I am not getting into that bathtub.

IT REALLY AMAZES ME HOW LIGHTLY PEOPLE TAKE ETERNAL LIFE. Are you willing to risk hell because of your pride. I know, I know, you don't believe in hell well you will when you get there. A Father sent His precious son to die for your sins. He gave Him as a sacrafice in exchange for our filth. All we have to do is receive His grace. How hard is that? What could be easier? Or are you too prideful to admit that you're not perfect and need forgiveness? Jesus has done it all and all He asks is that we receive His grace. Every time we deny Him we persecute and nail Him to the cross again. What a shame.

No, it wasn't God inspired...it was self inspired.
Is it written, yes...but only by you.
May you find the grace of the living God and His Son Jesus!
(Here's something to ponder) If you don't want to serve God...why do you want to go to Heaven? Reminds me of someone...oh yes, Lucifer; and look where he's going!
Blessings!

Despite your beliefs, if you're generally a good person, you go there, because " hands that serve are holier than lips that prayer". Take pattern from Mother Terresa.
