why all the put downs?? the title here is religion and spirituality..Are atheist religios or spritual?? why are they always bashing people.cant they answer question politely or in a different web-sight?

i already have my opinion on what the book of Revelation is about. i just want to know how all of you interpret it. do you think it is a prophecy of what will happen on judgement day? or do you think that it is a letter that was written to the christians in code about the fall of the roman empire? all answers are appreciated!!

God is omnipotent and allpowerful from what people have told me. If he is omnipotent then would he knows that a person is going to hell before they are even created. So why did he put them on earth?

Is it true that Jewish people are considered true Jews only if they were born Jewish...........meaning their parents were both Jewish? And that if one chooses to convert to Judaism later on in life they will never be considered a true Jew??

No one can't see god. God is nature, there arent stupid people before that belived in sun, in moon , sky, sea, etc in nature something that everyone can see that and somthing that are reality..This is my opinion for GOD.

My friend's father forces her to go to church on the first sunday of every month. She does believe in God, but she and I both believe that the faith is taught all wrong. This morning, she finally told him that she wasn't going to go, and he got pissed off, yelling, and threatened to take away everything that was important to her (total isolation). After a while of arguing, she just decided to go. While at church, her dad makes her read the book and sing (if she doesn't, she gets yelled at alot when she gets home). And then, he wonders why she doesn't believe when he literally forces her to go. Is this right? Is this the mindset of all Christians? Go to church or go to hell? I'm the boss and you do everything I say? I'm right and you're wrong? I just want an answer. Why?

Several times, just when Pharoah was about to let the Jews go free, God steps in and hardens his heart, forcing Pharoah to keep hold of his grip. If god had not interfered, Pharoah would have freed the jews earlier and there would have been no need for god to slaughter all of egypts first born children...

Considering how often the bible god murders or orders the murders of baby's, it seems maybe god kept hardening Pharoahs heart so all those children would die?
