I haven't attended church for years, so let me think of the benefits I received when I was sent to church weekly by Mom. First of all, I sat in a hard seat for three hours, and it began to hurt. I heard shrill, awful hymns that made me nervous. There was a pointless Sunday school class. Finally, a preacher waved his arms and jumped about, and he made his voice quiver as he said nothing intelligent at all. That finished shattering my nerves. I am not a masochist, so I don't enjoy such torture. To add insult to injury, plates were passed around to collect regular offering, special offering and building fund. If one dropped in some coins, he got dirty looks. I don't recall any benefits, but the preacher had plenty of them. He had nice suits and cars.

Sometimes a great deal, sometimes nothing I can see. Good thing that's not why I go: to get something out of it. I go to worship God, basically, in company with others who are (presumably) also there for the same reason. I may or may not get any direct benefit from it, but I'm there to glorify Him. It's not about me or what I think I'm getting from things. It's about Him and His glory. Sure, sometimes I come away from worship feeling extraordinarily blessed or refreshed or fulfilled or with a great insight from the sermon; other times I don't.

Well I go more than once a week.
Benefits:
A family that loves me just the way I am, and exactly where I am in my walk with God.
A teaching straight from the bible to fill up my leaky vessel and prepare it for the outside world and its influences. It is so much easier to avoid temptations from the world when the word of God is fresh on my mind and heart.
A song in my head and heart that stays there for days and pops up at moments I least expect.
Fellowship with my fellow believers. It is so awesome to be with people that do not feel a need to tempt me to follow the worlds view on matters that go against my creators will and way.

Very much so depends on your level of faith and belief. Also depends on how committed you are to your faith and if you live . breath . grows in your walk day bye day.
But not only going to Church every week but you get to Hear awesome life changing stories of someone from the Bible or in real life person. you get to further your knowledge in scripture , but also in your daily walk.
Going to Church isn't a chore or something that is a popularity or status quot. but something a person should want to do if they have a strong faith in God .
hope this sort of helps.

I get a fresh deep perspective on Scriptures, people who look you in the eye when they ask how your week was, friends who hold me accountable as a christian, a chance to minister, a chance to fellowship, prayer warriors pleading my case with God on any issue I may have to come up, .....
The question might warrant a shorter answer if asked, What DONT you get out of church! I love my church! I love my Christian family who loves me and supports me. And most of all, I love my God who blessed me with all of the above and so much more! Praise God!!!

when I'm struggling, there are people at church to encourage me and pray with me. At the same time someone may need the same from me."Iron sharpens iron" and when you fall, who but a church family will help you back on your feet?

Depends on where you live. Some people get a sense of community and pacificatiojn of their fear and guilt. In places like India, several denominations pay the citizens to come to church. Most don't believe a word, but it helps them out of poverty.
