Luke 24:39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

So what's the big idea about being a spirit when we aren't spirits? We are souls of clay, no?

Job 33:6 Behold, I am according to thy wish in God's stead: I also am formed out of the clay.

Job 14:13 O that thou wouldest hide me in the grave, that thou wouldest keep me secret, until thy wrath be past, that thou wouldest appoint me a set time, and remember me!

No he did not have bones and flesh. Luke 24:39 states that (for a spirit hath not flesh and bones). After his death he is a spirit. We don't need are bodies after we have died when we have accepted Christ. Bodies decay but the spirit that we allow to be developed through Christ lives forever.
Job 33:6 Means that are bodies were formed from dirt. -(Genesis 2:7 NKJ version)
the LORD God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.-

Yes. If He was only a spirit, then there was no need for an empty tomb. At the resurrection we will have our spirits reunited with our bodies.

Could it be that He died, was buried and was raised from the dead, to be in the flesh again? That makes Him the first to have risen from the Dead. The soul is our spirit. Our body is made of the clay.
