Like onb 9/11 how the Twin Towers were destroyed do we Americans try our best to do something about this "A Moment of silence to remember all of the people who lost there lives from other people that could not respect our nation. Remember Prophets will likely be critical and point out a different path than the one you are on.
Not interested in the twisters who say there are no prophets today,,,read Romans 12, understand who it was written too.

When I listen to preachers and such talk about God, or read articles on Him, it seems to me like pretty much nothing matters at all in anyway other than him. Go to heaven so you can worship him for eternity. Why have anything or do anything, since its all irrelevent in regards to Him? None of it matters. Only He does.

From what people say, having faith means choosing to believe something without any indication that it is true. Essentially, "Convince yourself this is true and you will end up believing it." Isn't that a complete tautology?

If he was travelling at a relativistic velocity (ie very near the speed of light) then creation would have appeared to take only 7 days. In fact, it would actually have taken 7 days, in his frame of reference. Simultaneously, it would have taken 15 billion years to someone in a different frame of reference, such as the one we are currently in.

Thanks to the relativistic nature of time, it's possible that there isn't even a contradiction between what astrophycists have found to be the scientific age of the universe, and what Creationists believe. I don't recall the Bible saying anything about God's velocity relative to a stationary observer on earth; therefore this hypothesis could solve the whole debate!

No need to thank me; a Nobel prize will suffice.

The TV preachers of today said, we wouldn't even get up for that much. Check it out. they make millions. Billy Graham made forbes list of richest men in America. Has his own set of jets.
Make most of it through the thousands of envelopes with 20. to 50. dollars each in them. Employs people year around just to open envelopes. If that is what they made in 1981 What do they make today? Since he said, "I wouldn't even get up there for that."

what would you think of that friend? If you think they went off their rocker, then why wouldn't you believe the same way about what is written in the bible? Worse yet is the childhood factor of the "phone game" in which we learn how a story that is told over and over again is distorted.

I am a Muslim reading the Bible just for understanding what the Christian religion is about. And my question is if Jesus (peace be upon him) is GOD or Son of God then how come he cried help from God? Anyway can someone tell me the trinity clearly and so I can understand. Also, this is another question. Who exactly knows if the Bible is in its actual form. Can someone show me proof.
