no one knows that answer, but Jesus. I think it would be cool though. That would be the best way to go to Heaven and be with Jesus! One can only pray that will happen! :)

I think the eagerness of people on this board and elsewhere for the end of the world is disturbing. Partially because according to Chridstian tradition, TEOTWAWKI (The End Of The World As We Know It) will be a horrific process in which millions, if not billions will die. Why anyone would look forward to such a thing for their own sake is incredibly selfish. Partly I am disturbed because there are some people who would happily cause TEOTWAWKI if they could, no matter who got hurt. And partly it tells me that for these people life is so frustrating and painful that they actually look forward to it ending.

If you want tyhe world to end for you so much, by all means step in front of a bus and enjoy your personal apolcalypse. Stop trying to drag the rest of the world into your fantasies.

He may and he may not. Depends on as to whether I am alive or not. Escape death? None of us escape death in this body and even if I am alive when the Lord returns, this body will be changed in the twinkling of an eye so in actuality, this body will still have died.

Nope. Reincarnation isn't a Christian philosophy, is it? Then why would you think that?

Besides, Jesus was the human son of Mary and Joseph, conceived before marriage, and the whole story was a cover-up meant to make them sound more pious, and it got way out of control. He might have taught good things, but he was as human as the rest of us. As for the whole "he appeared to his disciples three days later" thing, well, hallucinatory drugs weren't illegal back then, were they? I know that mass hallicinations can happen, and that's what I'm betting on in this instance, since there's no physical proof to the contrary.

Yes I do and any thinking person should to.
It is only a matter of time before the third world countries have the nuclear bomb. They have nothing to lose.
As Matthew 24:21 says no flesh will be saved alive.
that is the tribulation that is ahead of us.
He will cut short the time it says for the chosen ones.
We are rapidly moving toward that time period. Knowledge is so abundant it is amazing it hasn't happened already. it is only moments away.

I would like it if He comes while I am alive! No I don't want to escape death, because I am in God's hands and He knows when my time has come.

No one knows the hour when the Son of Man will return.

However, we are to know the times and the seasons, and it seems likely that He could return in my lifetime.

Yes, it would be wonderful to be alive at His return, I always think what it would be like, to be in a cemetry, and see the Saints caught up first, but it will be in a twinkling of an eye, so it will be very quick!

The signs of His soon coming are all around us. Matthew 24, Daniel 2, Revelation I believe with the way this world is going that it's can't be much longer.

I don't know when I'm going to die but if I were to live for another 40 somethings years I'd say yes.
Depends on what kind of death that was in store for me. Would I like to die peacefully in my sleep? Yes.
Would I want to suffer and die of cancer? No
